Another Bolton Appointeee Shines

Looks like there are some pissed off residents in Center Precinct. Here is an excerpt of a complainant from a DeKalb County resident.

"Instead of really listening and communicating (two-way) with us at our last neighborhood watch meeting, the local precinct commander went on the offense, treated us like we were a pain in his ass for making a big deal out of all this crime, told us the county is 800 police officers short, he looks forward to retirement in a couple of years, and tells his neighbors he can't do anything about the crack house in his neighborhood, either."

As a fellow blogger once said: "Dayum!"

It’s a Wonder These People Remember to Breath

Everyone recalls one of the scandals at Recorders Court. Which one you ask? The one which clerks were charging half price fines to dismiss charges. Oh, that one. Anyway, now the not so Honorable Recorders Court Judge R. Joy Walker wants to appoint a new deputy clerk.

She wants to appoint Derrick Wright to the position. What is his qualifications you ask? A Bachelor of Science degree in………..Sports Management and a minor in business. Wait, it gets better still. His references include Terry G. Phillips, the same Terry Phillips that ran the day to day operations of Recorders Court during the “Half Price” scandal. Phillips was hired by Vernon and after the scandal was moved to Bolton’s office. He still remains of the 4th floor.

Attached is the April 14, 2009 commission agenda for your viewing pleasure.

And the beat goes on.

Rancifer Throws a Fit, Is Spanked By O’Brien

May 15, 2009 is Police Memorial Day. Every year, our department is represented at the national service in Washington, D.C. by our Honor Guard.

This year, Assistant Chief Rancifer wanted to send along with the Honor Guard, the Motorcycle Unit. Not understanding that the county, just as the rest of the nation, is being severely affected by the current economic crisis. Rancifer’s idea was properly shot down because the lack of funds.

Rancifer’s response? If my guys in motors can’t go, then nobody goes, including the Honor Guard. Bill O’Brien, with his plate full enough with the wake of TeBo’s corruption, had to step in. Yes the Honor Guard is going, no the motors are not.

On a side note: On the heals of “Car-Gate”, Rancifer wanted to reassign 15 black Ford Crown Vic’s that are in reserve to S.W.A.T. and replace those with cars currently being used by S.W.A.T.

Seems when Tip Green with to retrieve the Crown Vic’s from the locked gated area, he found the locks had been changed. It appears C.E.O. Ellis has ordered all the cars in reserve locked down. Good for him.

Bolton had his motto of "New Start, New Beginning". We have come up with our own: "And the beat goes on."

Keisha "Margaretta" Williams Wants Her Job Back, Says She Did Nothing Wrong

Bolton continues to display signs of idiocy: Reached by phone in Dallas on Sunday, Bolton called Williams “borderline genius.”

Just a reminder of one reason Keisha Williams was fired.

Will these idiots never go away? They should be prosecuted for stupidity alone.

Good grief!

Job Well Done!

Our outstanding uniform officers and detectives worked hand in hand to take a dangerous, violent criminal off the streets before he had the opportunity to prey once again on innocent DeKalb County citizens.

This type of police work makes us all proud of our police officers and how we will not tolerate evil in our county.

Better yet, we don’t have TeBo around to parade his cronies in front of the media taking personal credit for the arrest. If anybody should be paraded in front of the cameras, it should be the grunt police officers in the street and the tired exhausted Major Crimes detectives involved.

Stay tuned more to come.

DeKalb fails to collect millions in business fees

In addition to Recorders Court not able to account for 90-120 million dollars, now the county has lost between 5 - 7 million dollars a year in uncollected business license fees since 2007.

Another example of the inept leaders put in place by Vernon Jones. Mike Bell, who is to over see the collections of business license fees, should be terminated first thing tomorrow.

Thank you Vernon Jones and supporters.

Have Cell Phone, Will Travel

Terrell Bolton has been caught red handed stealing money from the taxpayers of DeKalb County. As you can see in Dale Russell's investigation, Bolton claims to have been at work when in fact he was in Texas.

This information should be turned over to the District Attorney's Office immediately for indictment. But will we ever know if it is? If it is, will Gwen Keyes have what it takes?

Ms. Keyes did not hesitate to prosecute ex-DeKalb County Officer Anthony A. Robinson for stealing cash and lottery tickets. In fact, she is so proud of herself, Robinson's arrest and guilty plea is front page news on the official DeKalb County D.A. Office web site still today.

Recently some have defended D.A. Keyes as being a wonderful prosecutor, a friend to the police and defender of the public. Well, now we shall see.

CEO seeks change in chief firing procedure

Ellis is asking the commission to change county law and eliminate merit protection for future chiefs. Commissioner Stokes, Vernon’s crony, tips her hand of resistance. The item is to be heard in today commission meeting.

Today's meeting agenda suspiciously has not been posted on the county web page.

Stay tuned.

So, Superior Court Judge Linda Hunter Is Outraged

Linda Hunter, Superior Court Judge in DeKalb County claims to be outraged that the murdering ex-DeKalb County Deputy Sheriff was able to flee after being released on bond for two (2) counts of murder among other charges.

Magistrate Judge Winston Bethel says “It’s tragic that he was able to slip away like that,” “I can’t believe it took so long (to be notified). That is what most concerns me at this point.” Uh Judge?. some are questioning your time line. They are saying your office or the office over seeing murderers that have been released on bond, was notified early in the morning. But all this will come out in the wash.

This latest screw up not only outages us, but just plain pisses us off Judge Hunter and Judge Bethel. William Woodard who is a 3 time loser (convicted of 3 felony crimes) was allowed to be placed on probation even though this is not suppose to happen under the “3 strikes and you are out law”. And his probation was where? Could it be DeKalb County?

We are sure Judge Hunter and Bethel you don’t have the slightest idea who William Woodard is. To refresh your memory, he was released by the DeKalb County Magistrate Court after being arrested on a burglary charge. Not only that, 17 days later he guns down DeKalb County Police officers Barker and Bryant in cold blood. Only after the killings did the DeKalb D.A.'s office decide to indict him on the original burglary charge for which he was released.

Where was your outrage then Linda Hunter, Superior Court Judge of DeKalb County Georgia? Did you go to the funerals? Do you help support the fatherless children? And you Judge Bethel, this is the second time your name has come up during a screw up involving a murderer.

So you are outraged Judge Hunter, well we have been outraged. And it is time to take our outrage public, including Gwen Keyes Fleming, District Attorney, Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit and her office.

CEO in no hurry to hire new police chief

According to an AJC article by Marcus Garner, C.E.O. Ellis calms to be in no hurry to appoint a permanent police chief. Ellis stated "he wants to give Bolton every opportunity to appeal his firing under the merit system. A hearing on Bolton’s appeal is scheduled next month".

Next month? As in May? How long can this drag on? Commissioner Lee May a member of the commission’s public safety committee, suggested a timetable for hiring a new chief — by year’s end. “I think that’s reasonable,” Ellis said.

Surely Ellis said this in jest. So far, we have supported Ellis. But if he is serious about appointing a chief of police by years end, then he will start to lose the support of the rank and file. This police department, after years of inept leadership, cannot afford to be a rudderless ship any longer.

We can not afford having a lame duck acting chief of police. How can this department be led one day more by the inept, incompetent people Bolton has placed as command staff?

With the announcement of Bill O'Brien as Acting Chief of Police, morale sky rocketed. But the honeymoon is quickly coming to an end.
