Did Gwen Fleming Finally Give In To Pressure From "The Blog"

Why did it take a year to make an arrest? Did she finally decide to prosecute because of pressure from the blog? Only Gwen Fleming can honestly answer that.

On an added note, you would think the District Attorney would be proud to rid the court system of corruption. But apparently not as proud as she is in prosectuting Officer Anthony A. Robinson who plead guilty to one count of Viloation of Oath of Office for sticking money and lottery tickets in his pocket. He is still the leading arrest on the the District Attorney's web page.

We thank Mrs. Fleming for her support.

Ellis Pushes Transparency

(WSB Radio) DeKalb County has created a new office aimed at eliminating fraud and abuse.

During a news conference on Tuesday, CEO Burrell Ellis introduced seven board members who will oversee the development of the Office of Transparency and Accountability.

"Since taking office in January, we've been inundated with a growing number of requests from citizens and employees that a variety of county departments be investigated because of allegations of waste, fraud, and abuse," said Ellis.

Ellis hopes to choose and Inspector General by the fall.

Maybe Recorders Court will be investigated after all.

Does Our Department Aggressively Investigate Drug Trafficking?

According to court records, In 2008, Gwinnett County conducted 30 wiretaps. One of the wiretaps was for a murder investigation and the other 29 were narcotics cases many of which were related. The murder investigation wiretap netted two arrests and had 84 incriminating intercepts. Overall, there were over 50,000 calls were intercepted of which over 11,000 were incriminating and 62 persons arrested.

According to these same records, while Vernon Jones was C.E.O. and Terrell Bolton was Chief of Police, DeKalb County conducted 0. Yes, zero.

More Of Bolton's Greatest Hits

"Fired DeKalb Police chief packs things, gets into a sweet ride". (Creative Loafing 03/31/09)

March 13, 2009 at 10:08 am by Thomas Wheatley in News

Former DeKalb County Police Chief Terrell Bolton stopped by his old office last night to pack his things before he begins his legal battle with the county. If you recall, DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis recently fired Bolton, which the former chief says he’ll contest.

The AJC has lots of details about what’s going down and what’s set to happen, but I always crack up when I read things like this:

“I was looking for things that would help my case,” Bolton said as he rushed past news cameras after emerging at 1 a.m. Friday. “Thank you. Bye-bye.”
Recent headlines:

He walked briskly to a Cadillac that pulled up in front of the DeKalb County Public Safety complex. The car drove off as soon as he got in.

There’s always a waiting Cadillac! If you were the driver of this car and somehow reading this, send me a line. I want to know what music played as you drove off.

Two administrators arrested in CRCT cheating

This is a joke right? People arrested for cheating on school test? What is Gwen Fleming thinking?

Terrell Bolton has stolen thousands of dollars from the citizens of DeKalb County. He has falsified documents as it relates to his illegal comp time. He used seized vehicles for personal use against federal law. Bolton hired people and billed other cost centers besides the police department. He billed other cost centers for equipment. Terrell was not even in the state, but was visiting his family and was paid for it! Yet no indictments or arrest.

The Recorders Court has between 90 and 120 MILLION dollars unaccounted for and no criminal investigation!

This is just incomprehensible! The insane are running the asylum!

Look What 6 Officers Can Do In Just 11 Months

Thanks to an unknown poster for this video.

5 Killed In Fatal Accidents On I-285 In 4 Days

Since Saturday June 13, 2009 (4 days) 5 people have been killed in traffic accidents on parts of I-285 that run through Center, Tucker and South Precincts. Speed is the contributor to each death.

DeKalb County Police is the only agency in the metro area, and probably the entire state, that does not aggressively enforce speed limits on its major freeways by either radar or laser. Sure, each precinct puts out one officer, but that officer is pulled in all directions, be it freeways, roadways or answering calls.

Gwinnett County has radar/laser officers assigned to I-85 all hours of the day. That is their job, speed and D.U.I enforcement, this is in addition to their D.U.I. Unit. The same applies for Cobb County. The parts of I-285 within the city limits of Doraville and Dunwoody are crawling with officers running radar/laser.

It has been tradition in DeKalb County for our traffic enforcement unit (TAC) to work Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM, excepting special events, usually involving some so called celebrity. The reason for this, in the past anyway, is because the powers at be were afraid "friends and contributors" would be stopped at night and either cited or arrested for D.U.I. The same reasons probably apply today. In addition, Assistant Chief Rancifer believes your average patrol officer is not smart enough to run radar/laser.

Rancifer will probably have someone respond to this editorial by saying we have to be careful and selective about who is certified in radar/laser because of FCC rules, yatha yatha. If you can't trust an officer with a laser, then they surely can't be trusted with a gun and the authority to deprive someone of their freedom.

In light of the recent deaths, will DeKalb Police change their speed enforcement polices? Probably not. We'll run some special for a few days, then it will be business as usual.

Can It Happen?

Vernon Jones is probably running for Governor for the State of Georgia. If, by some strange reason he should be elected, would he not hesitate to hire Terrell Bolton as Commissioner of Public Safety for the State of Georgia, commanding the State Patrol?

The Arrogance of Terrell Bolton

In March of this year, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Bolton’s appeal from when he was fired from Dallas Texas.

In keeping with his track record of arrogance, Bolton filed a “rehearing” with the U.S. Supreme Court in April of this year. Of course the court told him to take it and shove it.

Bolton's Hearing Day II

Just In From Our Reporter - Bolton's Hearing Day II

Long session with Vernon. Media will highlight the best of it. Bolton clearly had a lot of freedom to operate as he wanted. Vernon encouraged him to take time off because being police chief is a 24/7 job.

Vernon didn't mind him having as many cars as necessary to do his job "He's the police chief" was repeated numerous times throughout Vernon's testimony.

Vernon's lawyer Dwight Thomas was here and wore dark sunglasses throughout Vernon's testimony.

When county attorney began to Cross Vernon about when he took over as CEO if he expected his employees to work a little harder. He stated he lead by example. Just after that he abruptly asked for a break...a 1 minute break. Left holding his throat and was followed out by his attorney. County attorney quickly followed the pair into the hall. Upon resuming County attorney asked why he needed a break and if he talked with his attorney. He said "Yes, I was tired. You've kept me waiting for two days."

The nutshell is that Vernon felt he needed to attract a high calibre Chief to DeKalb and knew Bolton's family would remain in Dallas so he gave him the right to take as much comp time as he rightfully earned. Vernon felt Bolton always asked for the time appropriately and was always just a phone call away and could still manage business from Dallas.

Regarding the trip taken to TX during the investigation after the officers were killed Vernon said "It was a big blow to him (the officers being killed), it was a big blow to me. He had just previously mentioned that Bolton had promised to work night and day to catch killers. The county attorney said "I thought you just said he would work night and day...". Vernon quickly interjected that the killers were thankfully quickly caught.

Debbie Boyd testifying now. Hearing has ended for today...waiting to see when Day 3 will be held. Will inform you if they inform us.

Stay tuned!

DeKalb County’s Very Own Representative Hank Johnson and Representative John Lewis Declare Cop Killer Troy Anthony Davis: Innocent

On August 19, 1989 Troy Anthony Davis gunned down and killed in cold blood Savannah Police Officer Mark MacPail a short time after Davis had fled the scene of another shooting which he was the predator.

Officer MacPail left behind a family, including a son that was only 7 weeks old when his father was murdered.

There have been years and years of appeals upholding the conviction of murderer Troy Anthony Davis. But that is not good enough for Hank Johnson and John Lewis. Because you see, John Lewis compares his own self to both cop killing Troy Davis and the murdered police officer Mark MacPail. He rambles on about his days of the civil rights movement when he was thrown in maximum security jails like Davis. He compares the beatings he took during those same demonstrations as being a victim of violent crime, just like Officer Mark MacPail. But Representative Lewis wasn’t killed, now was he?

Obviously missing from the article on John Lewis’ official website is when he met with the surviving family of Officer MacPail. Did he ask the son how it felt growing up from the time he was 7 weeks old to present without a father, the wife without a husband? Did Hank Johnson, an attorney, meet the prosecution team in Chatham County? Didn’t think so.

What gives either one of these men the right to make judgment by visiting Troy Davis for only 2 hours and declare how the courts and evidence have been wrong up until today?

Two men, two words: despicable vermin
