James Claude Ferrell, who shot one of our finest, is nothing more than a predator. With DeKalb County judges and district attorney, you can rest assured he will be back. The next officer may not be so lucky.
Remember, there are thousands more out there just like him.

Our crack investigative team is on the case for his detailed background.

Former Fulton County Sheriff Sticking It To The Taxpayers Of Fulton and DeKalb Counties
This same privately owned probation company, Judicial Correction Services, is conducting business in Fulton County, unethically, if not illegally, is the same company used by our very own Recorders Court.
Who in DeKalb County is responsible for hiring this guy? Chief Judge Walker?
No wonder there a millions on dollars in fines unaccounted for.

No Wonder Crime is Rampant in DeKalb County
Recently, Bill Torpey and Bill Rankin of the Atlanta Journal Constitution wrote an article revealing that 1 in 4 defendants in Fulton County are out on bond. The article focused primarily on the amount of people accused of Murder who are out on bond.
They interviewed several metro area District Attorneys. “Gwinnett DA Danny Porter said it is rare for murder defendants in his county to get bond and was surprised so many in Fulton got it. Cobb DA Pat Head, in office a decade, could not recall more than 10 murder defendants in Cobb getting bond. The DeKalb DA’s office said it does not keep statistics on bonds”.
Hopefully this statement has Bill Torpey and Bill Rankin following up on who is being released in DeKalb County. Obviously Gwen Fleming doesn't object to violent offenders being released back onto the streets of DeKalb County to prey on it's citizens.

Furlough Days Have Now Become Unpaid Holidays
We hope you can figure this out. The jest of it is: During the pay periods 11/14/09 - 11/27/09 (80 hours) you will only be paid 72 hours. We are losing 8 hours of holiday pay in the mix.
On the pay checks recieved on 12/4/09, you will see a one time reduction in pay of 10%, just in time for Christmas!
Good luck.
So much for our 4 day weekend we had planned.
