How many times have we heard "his pay wasn't cut and he didn't lose his take home car"?

So be it. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Send Bolton to Animal Control, with his take home car and his salary. Heck I don't care, let him take one of his drivers. Just remove him from the top. Even better, send him with one of Vernon's previous drivers.

Show of hands for Bolton to be the next Chief's driver.

If all that comp time was "approved by the previous administration" and Bolton can't be held responsible, then we shouldn't be responsible for Bolton's merit protected status either.

what time does Bolton get to work on Mondays? Or is he on a 4/3 with Mondays off?

I bet they will kiss and make up.

Taking comp time which you are specifically not allowed under the rules, regulations, and laws is theft.

Two or more people acting together to take that money is a conspiracy.

If the "previous administration" worked in concert with TB to steal this money, it doesn't mean there is no crime. It means there is an additional crime.

Under TB's line of thinking, if a bank teller and a robber work in cahoots, the robber doesn't commit a crime because the bank employee allowed the money to be taken.

Doesn't TB have an attorney to tell him not to admit to the conspiracy to reporters?

I'm so tired of all the lies in DeKalb. Just reviewing information about Vernon, Lee P. Brown, and Bolton in Dallas an DeKalb. Thick as thieves, stress on thieves. I'm not a DeKalb Officer, just a citizen who is tired. Tired of being taken advantage of, tired of being an endless source of money for the county to tap into, and extremely tired of being lied to again and again.

How much does it cost these days to have people help you CYA? I attended the county meeting last year where the third party was brought in to investigate the excessive county contracts. No wrong doing. It was laughable. Seriously, 3rd graders could have spotted the bad math.

Bolton yet another who takes advantage of his power, the budget he is given, doesn't follow Georgia Laws, County Rules, and then tries to sweep it under the carpet with lies. Well, IT IS NOT OK. What happened to the losing your job when you took money, mismanaged money, lied, didn't show up for work 1/4 of the time, or didn't follow a rule you hold others accountable for as with the RV tag issue? It is not OK that our Police Chief does these things, and is still allowed to keep his job.

Have we become so PC that is is not OK to fire someone for doing a lousy job?? I'm not even covering the transfers, demotions, forced retirements, low morale, luxury vehicle, abuse of take home cars, drivers (4 DRIVERS!!!!).

Come on! It is time for all of this to end, and time for a SOLID candidate to step in as Police Chief and start addressing the mess that Bolton leaves behind yet again.

How come ??, how come ???
How come there is nothing being done to investigate and prosecute the missing millions from the recorders court? Dale4 Russell should get some answers on the mission millions ! Do you think the county will do anything without a cattle prod ?? Think again. Heads should roll on this episode.

if it doesn't make TeBo or the department look bad dale is not doing it.

It is plain that TeBo and the department can't and won't investigate themselves, so it falls to the Press to do it. I think I read that somewhere, like maybe the 1st Amendment. Besides, a little suffering can begat more appreciation and a much more protective position against future incompetence.
