Being disappointed in our current District 4 representation and the downward spiral of our country under current leadership, Liz decided to launch her own campaign.
Liz Carter is no politician. She's a savvy businesswoman with over 20 years of real-world experience as an executive and job creator.
The DeKalb Fraternal Order of Police is proud to endorse her candidacy for the US House of Representatives.

A fiscal conservative is needed, but good luck in DeKalb County. It's all about the Democrats. You can't use "fiscal smarts" in the same sentence when discussing Democrats or DeKalb politics.
How about just someone who knows the meaning of "fiscal responsibility"?
What's her position on Guam expansion??
I think she believes Guam will tilt to the "right".

I think the narrator is Vern's friend and supporter. It is interesting and entertaining to listen to the promises of Vernon and Connie.
Thanks to the blogger for the video link. I didn't know much about either candidate, but now I know there is absolutely no comparison between these two.
You GO GIRL! What a refreshing change she would be....there's hope after all for Dekalb County...
I don't think most of the voters in the 4th district will vote for a white female republican. She doesn't have a snowballs chance...
I just watch the video and I was impressed. Mrs. Carter knew her facts.
You have to love the promises of Vernon Jones and Connie Stokes.
Mrs. Carter could just what DeKalb County needs to survive.
Carter seems to be coming from the right place, and the fact that she is not a career politician is something that appeals to me about many candidates for office as of late. It's already been said though, due to race, she probably does not have a good chance.
We need to get off the racial bandwagon here in Dekalb. Too many voters are voting along the lines of racial/identity politics instead of anyone with practical sense. The last two CEOs have been elected along these lines and where has it gotten us? We had one who robbed everyone in this county blind for two terms and now we have one who talks a big game, but brings very little to the table. If we can't get out of this mold, the corrupt and negligent will continue to exploit this and the cycle will continue. Really it would be nice to see some balance and common sense brought to the table for a change. Whether we will get it or not remains to be seen.
Hell, anybody over Stokes. Remember guys, STOKES is not your friend!!!!!!
In my opinion, I think blacks (myself being black) pay too much attention to the color a skin when it comes to voting. Not all of us is that way, but there is a large majority of us out there that want to see another black succeed without knowing what he or she stands for.
