Solicitor-General Sherry Boston Calls For Special Prosecutor
Are we dreaming? Now this is a different angle within DeKalb government and politics. Solicitor General Sherry Boston is calling for a special prosecutor into the coverup of Stan Watson's non-arrest for driving under the influence. Man, what a breath of fresh air!
But where is Mother's Against Drunk Drivers? They sure are being quiet about this. And just in case anyone is interested in contacting MADD, here is their link

While they are at it, they can look into the weed incident too! Holmes and Wiz should not get away with it!
Let's face it guys, all the standup supervisors left this shit-hole long ago. We are all we have so let's take care of one another.
Special prosecutor for Watson, I can't believe it; now ANDREW BAKER of planning is a different story. When will the DA's Office tackle real issues? Such as Andrew Baker aka Mr. RICO ACT.
Also while we are at it they can look into the payoffs in the business license and zoning office.
Looks like someone is making a bid to be the next Dekalb D.A.
The really sickening thing is that this fool of an elected official will most likely get just get some type of reprimand or censure while the cops who are just trying to do thier jobs will most likely get fired or demoted. I remember years ago having a drunk driver in front of me that I had just stopped on Candler Rd and I had to let them go so I could respond to the armed robbery in progress with shots fired just up the street. There were no units available for backup and I responded alone. As a cop you MUST have the ability to make the hard choices. The media, MADD, and citizens will never understand this because they are never in that kind of situation. Im not syaing that this is what happend in this instance (I wasn't even there) but when you play back seat driver to a Police Officer working the violent streets, and you werent there, you cant judge them with honesty.

I see the names of people in charge at the PD in the news and on this blog that I would not trust to empty trash cans at the Burgess Building when I worked there.
MADD is just hearing about this. Rallying the press if we can, anyone willing to go on camera call Barry at 770-790-5531.
Andrew Baker, Deborah Nisiram, just to name a few. The tie of these two and a club owner who owns five night clubs in DeKalb and is famous for paying off officials. Wait until Holmes becomes the chief, oh yea Stan you religious man that you are, you forgot to apologize to God. If she is making a bid to be the next DA then she should prove it by prosecuting this thug to the fullest!
Get real people, this is nothing new and don't for a minute think this type of stuff didn't happen back in the day. Difference then is there weren't any cameras.
Cops been letting other cops, politicians, friends, and especially good looking females off with warnings since the days they starting pulling people over.
Try and say it aint true but you know it is!
YEP, attorneys have ruined it for everyone. Surgeons are now filming their procedures in anticipation of malpractice suits from this ridiculous litigious society in which we live.
Anon September 24, 2012 10:57 AM stated, " all the standup supervisors left this shit-hole long ago."...
Let me add to that:
or they've been knocked down so many times they stopped getting up.
As a supervisor, you learn fast that your job is NOT make waves. They talk a good game but, they're not looking for supervisors who bust their ass or have high expectations.
Standing up is foolish on the battlefield and foolish at DKPD.
What a shame this has become an acceptable standard. I certainly wouldn't remain in such an environment.
My first effort was just way too long.
This is all the result of over a decade of employee intimidation that is a specialty of DeKalb's dominant political party, you know the one that's the "workers friend". Over two decades DeKalb's leadership went from benign leadership to oppressive rule. DeKalb's downfall did not happen by accident and took a lot of hard work on the part of DeKalb rulers.
Best of luck guys and gals!

Please investigate Andrew Baker and his dept.
Please take a note from Gwinnett County Govt and prosecute these criminals.
OT, as the current topic has gone stagnant.
CEO Burrel Ellis infatuation with the Soap-box derby ™ and the questions it brings up as to the motives, mental attitude and judgment of DeKalb's political rulers. Personally I like the idea behind the Soap-box derby, young kids get to build a gravity powered racer with their own hands, and participate in races. It builds self-confidance based upon personal achievement rather than the garbage of “everyone's a winner” espoused nowadays.
Spending a million dollars of DeKalb citizens bond money on a personal fantasy, with no market research as to the viability of the product raises grave doubts as to CEO Ellis's motives and priorities.
The AJC has a story on a Decatur Soap-box derby, link is:
http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/soapbox-derby-on-for-decatur/nSLKd/
From what I can see the event is being hosted with virtually no cost to the city of Decatur, besides closing a street and providing minimal police support for the event. No doubt the revenue generated to charity and the local economy provides justification for the event.
CEO Ellis cannot provide any justification for his personal fantasy and illustrates just how wasteful and arrogant DeKalb political rulers are with the citizens hard-earned cash without regard for the citizens wishes. No wonder Dunwoody and Brookhaven broke away!
My opinionated opinion.
Best of luck mates!

Kenc shut up plz, you are sad do you have life outside of this blog.
ALL: Leave Ken alone, you might not always agree with him, but for years he was right in the middle of all that went on in the County and having access to areas that the common folk might not have seen.
You would be best serve to listen to him.
Anon 8:46 and like minded. I have a very nice life, thanks!
I keep my closest interests under cover, they are legal, but not politically correct.
I also have a deep interest in keeping DeKalb government solvent to maintain my pension.
Over the last decades, I have watched DeKalb political rulers move from benevolent leadership to fantasy-land with the employees taking much of the burden of increased revenue while DeKalb rulers party in DC or out west at the citizens and employees expense.
Core government services are neglected in favor of Aqua-parks, horse farms and the soap-box derby.
If you can't recognize the problems with DeKalb government, then open your eyes and ears.
I suggest you take a good hard look at DeKalb government and school system.
Explain to me the accomplishments over the last decade.
Best regards,
KenC
They won't do anything about this, just like the weed incident. Good cops get investigated while the assholes running the place get away with crime after crime.
