Why was APD still using a helicopter built in 1967?

cause they did not think their age was a problem.....all fun and games till theres a accident and u have to explain ur self. I hope DKPD air units arent that old.

Dekalb County 90, I will be praying for you. I don't know any of you personally, but my heart is heavy. My love for this job is great. I see you guys in passing. I never think for a moment that it would be my last time seeing you. I don't want to know the pain the APD family is going through up close. It makes my heart heavy to think of what you guys are feeling. My everyday life problems and issues are nothing compared to the pain of losing a loved one. No one can say anything or do anything to fill your gap. Only God can keep your hearts. Amen.
Sad showing for Dekalb officers at today’s funeral. It’s crazy that officers outside the state can show up, but we can only get a small handful. No wonder this place is falling apart.
Where were the parents of the 'lost' child at the funeral?
