This blog page was established so DeKalb County Police Officers including their family and friends may have a place to hold discussions, post news and vent without fear of retribution.
The article "Dallas at the Tipping Point" (the link is in the new section highlighting Bolton's past)Two things really stood out when I read the article.1) Low Morale due to Salary increases met at the door by "sharply raised insurance deductibles and eliminated a service-longevity incentive" 2)And a report that showed "only 43 percent of sworn officers assigned to answer calls -- "the lowest among the peer cities,"A lot sounds familiar. Does anyoe know how many of our sworn officers are answering 911 calls?
