Well I heard the news that we have two Lieutenants from Atlanta Police about to join our ranks. I understand they are going to be our new Majors to run certain precincts. So we must not have anyone internally that meets Chief Bolton qualifications.
Somehow Atlanta Chief Pennington missed these two candidates for his own department, just as he missed Chiefs Anderson and Bush.
I wonder how Chief Bolton found out about these two candidates for his Command Staff? Will there be a Deputy Chief assigned to the CEO security detail? Well he putting a temporary command staff in place there?.
The question is, are these people Bolton is bring in qualified if we have a dire situation that would require leadership and knowledge?
Don't worry , we still have qualified Captains and below to lead us . You can not blame someone from accepting a promotion after being tapped by Chief Bolton for an ACTING position, if you said NO, who knows the retaliation and where you would be assigned. I just hope Burrell Ellis and Stan Watson are concerned enough about the DeKalb Police Department. It will take years to recover from the Vernon Jones/Louis Graham/Terrell Bolton era.

This is sad. Yes we do have very competent Captains to lead us. But they lack the gonads to stand up for what is right. Some want to be promoted into the Kingdom.
It is time for a revolt! It is time for the ones who are not in an appointed position to stand up against Bolton's failed polices as a group.
The underlings can still protect the citizens of our county and enforce the laws and up hold their oath, but when it comes to administrative workings , they can lay down. They have the power to make it really uncomfortable the ones in appointed positions. It is time for change, change on our end. Something has to be done and now!
Well, I figured out a solution to our leadership problem and here it goes........TOM WHITTINGTON FOR CHIEF!!!!

Well, well so two more friends of the chief's family coming here huh???? I'm sure everyone knows that Chief Bolton's brother worked for APD. ou812, it's not about standing up, some have tried and they are beat down. Look at my previous posts of all the people who have been forced into retirement. You can't believe what goes on behind closed doors. This place we work in is just amazing. CEO Jones is the only one to blame for this whole fiasco. It will be a long time before we ever fully recover if we do at all.
Question to ponder....
Is Atlanta so loaded with talent that they can afford to let so many qualified Lt's go... Or is Chief Pennington a complete idiot who does not recognize a Major in Lt's clothing.
