This this is how you treat your officers. Maybe we should send Bolton to the cities within Gwinnett County for training. It would be far less expensive than Houston, and could have immediate benefits to DeKalb County officers.

You mean these cities bought their officers take home cars instead of a Magic Bus?
"You invest a lot of time and money in training police officers and we want to keep them."
--What suburban city wouldn't take an officer, who has been trained to take on high, urban crime like Dekalb's?
The surrounding cities are thanking you, Bolton, for sending them pre-trained, over-qualified officers to their low-crime jurisdictions.
They are retaining theirs AND taking yours.
You wouldn't believe how good it feels to be pre-trained and over qualified in a low crime jurisdiction. The last warrant I served was for Practicing Dentistry without a license. Can you believe that?
You also wouldn't believe what its like working for a Department that takes care of it's officers (housing stipends, medical and dental insurance paid for, $$$ towards any gym membership of your choosing, take home cars).
People here wave to us.
