A federal appeals court has upheld an earlier ruling in favor of the city of Dallas in former Dallas Police Chief Terrell Bolton's wrongful-termination lawsuit.

Mr. Bolton had argued that former City Manager Ted Benavides was acting as a policymaker for the city when he fired Mr. Bolton in August 2003 and therefore the city could be held liable.

"Because state and local law demonstrate that Ted Benavides was not a final policymaker with respect to his decision to terminate the employment of Terrell Bolton, the City of Dallas cannot be held liable for that termination," the court wrote in its decision, which was released Thursday.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, TeBo!

Bad news usually comes in sets of three..... it this bad news number one or two for Chief Bolton?

I still haven't figured out whether the election results were good news or bad news.

You know, Dallas must have really hated TeBo. Most suits are settled out of court because of the cost involved. It's nice to see Dallas tell Terrell to stick up his butt!
