Disgraceful!

Terrell Bolton is a disgrace to the DeKalb County Police Department and to all who choose to put on the uniform. The story by Dale Russell of Fox 5 proves beyond a doubt the arrogance of this man.

How in God’s name could he hop on a plane to Houston Texas while the persons wanted for gunning down two (2) of our officers, leaving them laying in the dark and cold, were still on the loose? He claims the trip was necessary to meet with The Brown Group International to discus the reorganization of the department.

TeBo says certain things can’t be done over the phone. I’m sure the people of BGI would have understood if he called them and told them of the officers being slain. But wait, if the meeting was so important, then why didn’t the BGI just fly here? After all, the county had paid them over $300.000.00 in consulting fees. This money was probably paid illegally. As you may recall, the payment was only learned after a Grand Jury investigation.

According to sources, while King Bolton was on his junket to Dallas via Houston, Sheriff Thomas Brown called Bolton to offer any assistance in identifying and apprehending the murders of Officers Bryant and Barker. Little did the Sheriff know he was talking to Bolton while he was in Texas. Once Brown learned of this, he exploded, wanting to know how any one could just up and leave town with two (2) officers dead.

But according to the chief, he is the chief, and he can do what he wants.

Just the mere fact that Bolton could be so self centered and despicable to run out on the citizens of DeKalb, the department and the family of the slain officers, almost over shadows the unethical, if not illegal trips to Texas at the taxpayers expense.

We call upon Vernon Jones to terminate Bolton immediately. We call upon the citizens of DeKalb County to flood Vernon’s office with phone calls, emails and regular mail demanding the termination of Bolton. The same pressure should be applied to the Board of Commissioners as well, in particular Burrell Ellis, C.E.O. elect. The termination of Bolton should be Ellis’ priority on his first day in office.

And for you, who think TeBo is “protected” by the merit system and can not be terminated, just look around. Department heads, police and other county employees who are merit “protected” are terminated or replaced on a regular basis. Even Bolton’s appointed command staff is demoted on what appears to be on a monthly cycle.

Bolton must go, now!

We tried and tried to warn your county. This guy is a complete and total megalomaniac and will run that department like Idi Amin. When the county finally comes to it's senses and fires him, as we did, he'll start crying like a toddler who dropped his lollipop, toss out the race card and file a huge lawsuit for "wrongful termination." Perhaps the board of commissioners saw the suit Dallas had to deal with and now is hesitant to go through the same process? Guess what, we won and so can you. Save your county's dignity and get rid of this cancer immediately.

Terrell Bolton is a very poor excuse of a Police Chief. I cannot believe he had the nerve to try and throw Ms.Verbie under the bus by blaming her for booking his 1st class plane ticket. Ms. Verbie has been around DeKalb County for quite sometime and she knows better. Dale Russell proved just that ! Does Bolton believe when he gives Dale Russell an answer Dale is not going to verify his lies. Bolton was never a police officer because when asked a question nine times out of ten the person asking aready knows the answer (Law Enforcement 101)! Again this is just another example of TeBo acting out of desperation. Although it's not surprising that he would do such a thing. Bolton is nothing but a sorry son of a bitch that goes around using honest people to his advantage and then spit them out. I am so sick of him talking about the enemy is out to get him. If he really wants to know who the enemy is, all he has to do is look in the mirror and face himself. He is the enemy for all the men and women of DeKalb Police Department who have spent half their lives building DeKalb County Police and making it what it was prior to him distroying it! The citizens of DeKalb County should feel the same pain the police department feels because now he is not only a disgrace to the department, he is a disgrace to DeKalb County in it's entirety and a thorn in everyone's backside.

Bolton's leaving town is just icing on the cake!

Officers on duty the night Barker and Bryant were gunned down said there was an inordinate amount of radio traffic that focused on finding the keys and/or a driver for the Magic Bus!

The officers were upset that 90 (the helicopter) was not on-duty or readily available and that a K-9 Unit was also not on-duty or readily available. They felt that a department the size of Dekalb should have both available 24x7.

Instead of the radio traffic being concerned with how to speed up their response time and how long would it take for them to go 10-7, they were frantic over the fact that they couldn't figure out who had the keys for the Bus!

Bolton's leaving town is just the icing on the cake!

ps.....Georgia is right to hire and fire state, they don't need a reason to fire him!

Well, well, well.... ole Vern stated at Stan Watson town hall meeting when he praised his Police Chief for not going to bed until the killers of his police officers were in jail was thousand miles away having a high powered dinner with a headhunter. When the Sheriff corrected ole Vern that it was Sheriff's deputies who arrested the killer the Chief acted out on the Sheriff like some school bully. Transferred a captain to a meaningless job in communications for supporting the Sheriff. Now the truth is coming out for the public what law enforcement already knew that the Chief have more of an ego than honor.
