Is this the best they can come up with?

As we understand it, Chiefs Horner and Franks called in all 50 of the ICP guys on Christmas night. On the heels of Bolton looking foolish over the rising crime stats, I guess these 2 fellows would give Bolton a Christmas present while he is in Texas, where he lives, not Georgia mind you. Even if Horner and Franks were attached at the head, it would be hard to find a half a brain among the two.

Back to the call out; with violent crime sky rocketing over the past to years, these 2 numb skulls decided the best way to attack the problem is crack down on expired business license and permits who serve alcohol. Christmas night is one of the slowest business days for such places.

The only people being hurt are the poor ole servers, waiters and cook. They are the ones who have to pay the fines for having an expired permit. They are just out there trying to make a buck. By cracking down on these folks, just exactly how many armed robberies will go down? How many less houses will be broken into next week?

The insane are running the asylum.

Sounds like "Operation Hammertime" 2008. I guess Dekalb PD wants to look 'productive' again.

Slamin Ethel says you have to be kidding me, a license check dont we have a vice unit for that?. Lets be honest the only reason Frank was awarded the grand master prize of Major was because he was VJ's driver and covered up his criminal acts, so basically it was a case of the three lil monkeys that sit on a shelf. See no evil,Hear no evil, and Speak no evil. And to think that he along with others are runnning this place no wonder morale is in the craper. I will only follow certain people into battle who will you follow.

In defense of Chief Frank, it was not his idea. He was ordered by Bolton to have all of the ICP guys and Gang guys come in. This was not a planned operation, but Bolton came up with this bright idea in the last minute while he was in Dallas with his family.

The writing is on the wall. This guy will be replaced soon. I believe within the first 30 days, but expect the drama to unfold because Bolton will fight this again like he did in Dallas. He will probably cry like a baby again.

And don't you just hate to see a grown man cry - LOL. I hope our new CEO does a good house cleaning in ALL areas including the PD. Bolton needs to go back to Texas.

I guess now that the coffers are running dry, its time for 'productive' initiatives to be put into place. Get ready for more 'Operation Highway Safety', 'Operation Hammertime', and 'Clean Sweeps' that do nothing but sweep money into the coffers of the Recorders Court. But, wait, didn't they lose 90 million dollars that no one seems to be able to answer.

Of course, Bolton will tell us that these initiatives yielded x-number of people with oustanding warrants and the warrants turned out to be nothing but FTAs for traffic court. Boy, I feel safe with those people off the streets!!

I'm willing to bet they are going to have another amesty day just like Mobile, Alabama did. They asked citizens to bring in their own tickets (the court seemed to misplace their copies) and you could make a deal. All they wanted was the cash, no matter what crime you were accused of, just shut up and pay. I wonder if Joy "I know of several ways we could make money together" Walker is taking notes.

What happen to the guy who was the court admin person, while all this was going on with tickets and money being lost? I forgot they quickly moved him to the Chief's office. I wonder what he does now?
