The walls of TeBo’s Kingdom are falling.

We have to hand it to the new C.E.O. In one swift move, he has eliminated a un-needed unit (Vernon’s protection unit), and put Bolton in his place. Please pay attention to what C.E.O. Ellis said. He has full confidence in the rank and file of the police department, and reading between the lines, no confidence in Bolton.

This not the first time TeBo has made such statements about Ellis being the enemy. In the past, we are told, Bolton made such comments at staff meetings, even warning the command staff to be careful who they support. Of course no one will come forward with this because of Bolton’s intimidation tactics.

Where will Major Ramey land before the new public safety director is named? Where will Vernon’s protection detail land? Who will be next to get the axe to make room for her?

Wow, I had not heard that "enemies" comment from Bolton. The man is not real bright. I hope Bolton has his resume updated. That was one HUGE slap in the face by CEO Ellis.

Happy New Year to all of Dekalb police and fire personnel!!!!

I'll cross my fingers and say a prayer that Bolton is gone soon, very soon.

Pull up the County's Web page! Check out Burrell Ellis' photo in the CEO's Corner.

Let the games begin. I expect we should begin to see some movement around the old department.

Slamin Ethel says I too would rather have the Sheriffs Dept watching over me. You cant trust Tebo, hes a part of the Vernon klan. I applaude Officer Kenny Sapp for not giving into the promotion of Major for driving VJ around as a reward to cover up his misdeeds, its really just a pay off.
Kenny you are well respected for not taking the low road.

I do not blame the new CEO one bit for using the DeKalb Sheriffs Department for his security. It appears to me that Burrell Ellis is not going to be anyone’s fool. It is sad that we even have to discuss such issues, but would you trust Terrell Bolton with your life? Mr. Ellis has plenty of problems he must address as the new CEO of DeKalb County and I am sure he doesn’t want to be worried about who the idiot we call a chief would send to protect him. Mr. Ellis, I hope that you know that there are plenty of outstanding DeKalb police officers who could and would protect you in a professional manner. Get rid of these incompetent buffoons who are trying to pass themselves off as a police command staff, and then give us some real LEADERSHIP, and you will see how good we can be.
While I’m on the topic of the command staff, is there anyone who thinks the next chief or assistant chief should be one of Bolton’s current lap dogs? Anyone who Bolton thinks is an outstanding leader should be automatically disqualified from ANY future considerations. What Bolton means by outstanding leader is a gangster who will do his dirty work. Assistant Chief Rancifer has been telling people that HE is going to be the next chief or the next public safety director. Are you kidding me? Damn, if anyone is thinking of doing that, just leave Bolton in place! WE NEED A COMPLETE FRESH START. NOT MORE OF THE SAME!

Yep, Jones is gone. The place smells better already.

Rancifer? You mean he's not Chief already? Has anyone told him that? He sure thinks and acts like he is!

Rancifer is an idiot. His ego is so big it wouldn't fit on the 4th floor and he needs the entire Bobby Burgess building to contain it. He couldn't even run a watch as a lieutenant and as a chief wastes manpower and resources on his eloborate, needless flop specials trying to be impressive. Come on, 100+ officers take over at St Pius over a piece of paper, the 4th of July goof and the massive NewYears Eve detail just to name a few. Give me a break. Get in your helicopter and fly away.
