Now there's a hardy show of support for PD.

Only two members of the Public Safety Committee were present?

How many are on the committee and how come the rest didn't attend?......Everyone and their uncle knew this issue would be discussed and submitted to a vote.

I'm still not clear on the shocking part.

I can be as tough as the next guy, but please explain the reasoning behind this.

I can't continue to fight back and there is nothing of importance to be learned......and let's say there is a 0.5% chance that a Taser jolt could be fatal.

No matter how small, do we really want to take that chance or the chance that an officer's body might have a hidden flaw that might make it fatal for he or she?

Stay tuned.....next in-service will include a thump from the ASP baton just to show it HURTS, followed by a 9mm round in the Vest......just to make you familiar with the pain you might inflict. Don't worry, there's only a small chance that it could be fatal.

Bolton should be a leader and go first.

To the first person who responded to this post, there are only three members on the Public Safety Committee. Sharon Barnes-Sutton and Lee May were present while Kathie Gannon was not there.

If you truly want to know why Gannon was not there ask her yourself.

Gannon's e-mail is kgannon@co.dekalb.ga.us

Gannon's phone number is 404-371-4909.
