DeKalb Police Officers Still Without Health Insurance

This is really ridiculous. Why are we being abused like this? Please see our new poll in the side column.

Should employees protest at the February 24, 2009 Board of Commissioners meeting?

"County officials said in early January that the glitch affected a small number of people, about 200 for medical coverage. Then, last week, county spokeswoman Kristie Swink said “a very small group” suffered a similar glitch in dental insurance."
"Cigna noted in one e-mail that the company’s communications director was keeping the public statement “as simple and vague as possible.”

Kristie Swink is a DAMN LIAR and should be f-ing fired!!!

I can think of nothing more ridiculous than our Officers going without health insurance!

We are behind yall on this! No one will blame you for protesting this at the Commissioner's meeting!

What is wrong with this County?

By the way, love the picture of Bolton sitting there with that ...grin

Don't blame Kristie Swink....blame your lord and savior Burrell Ellis and his flunkie Shiela Edwards....they are the ones who told her to say that! Why hasn't the almighty Mr. CEO corrected this problem if he cares so much about public safety. He'll be NO BETTER than Vernon....watch and see! Right now he's politically posturing. He's a snake who will eventually bite you all!

YOU MOROONS LOOK WHAT VERNON HAS DONE ITS ANOTHER BILL CAMPBELL. ITS VERNON THAT NEED TO BE ON THE STAND ANSWERING TO THE FRDS.. NOT MR. ELLIS

Let's not forget that it is not just PD, but all County employees that previously had BCBS of GA. For the amount of money that was spent on the transisition team and the fact that Ellis was a commissioner who voted for the switch to CIGNA, there needs to be more accountability from his team.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
