OMG! Bolton ask for 2 more weeks off!

This man does have health problems. We believe he truely is insane. We are counting on Ellis to give him more time off, all the time he needs, in the form of termination!

County policy and Federal law requires anyone taking more than 3 days off, using sick time is required to apply for FMLA.
Hummm I wonder if ol Tebo has requested this from personel, or is he violating county policy again because as you know he is the chief he can do what he wants.
Somebody give the man a shot of insulin would ya.

More medical leave? Medical leave is Bolton's new comp time. This madness needs to end!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a request for FMLA must be signed and/or supported by a doctor's signature and brief summary of the illness.

Maybe he is using it as "terminal leave" no pun intended. Does your policy allow one to burn all of their sick leave prior to resignation? Sounds like that's what he is doing to me.

Or Short Term Disability, but when has Bolton ever followed the rules?

That's it Bolton, ride your career into the toilet on "medical" leave! Contrary to popular belief, we are not all idiots around here. (besides DeKalb citizens electing such idiots as McKinney, Dorsey and Jones) Anyone with half a brain can recognize that Bolton's "medical" leave is political and a poor decision on his part. Instead of staying in the "game" and fighting for his job, Bolton has already made his decision to go legal and stick the county for every cent he can. His last decision for another two weeks medical leave almost assures us that we have seen last the last of Bolton, except in a court room, and then laughing all the way to the bank! Then he will find another "sugar daddy" politician eager for a "yes man" police chief and proceed to do what he did in DeKalb and Dallas. To Vernon Jones, I know you are actually a pretty smart person, but you have deep character flaws that prevent you from acting in the best interests of the public, especially your inclination to attack or fire anyone who does not agree with your every whim. DeKalb citizens need to grow up and realize that electing county officials based on skin-color instead of character has extremely negative results such as the Dorsey/Brown murder and the current fiasco with Bolton.

Please Mr. Ellis, for the sake of DEKALB COUNTY, please just fire this man now so that we can move on. Besides being arrogant and incompetent he is incredibly embarrassing to the entire county. Bolton appears to have no shame whatsoever and assuming he ever had it, he has completely lost his grip on anything resembling reality.
I just want a decent, respectful, intelligent, HONEST and professional police chief for all of the citizens of DeKalb County. Is this too much to ask for?

Has anyone else been diagnosed with diabetes? I know many people who have, and they haven't missed a day of work. This is a pathetic attempt of Bolton to milk more money from DeKalb!

Yea, I have it. Never caused me to miss a day of work or anything else.

Hell I just want my job back after being wrongfully fired by Keisha Williams.
