Major Ramey has taken a voluntary demotion back to lieutenant and will be assigned to uniform division as a watch commander.
Pretty much speaks for itself.

Well then maybe she is smarter than I gave her credit for, but then yet im she she was given the option.
She was doomed anyway and was only promoted because of ol VJ. The only bad thing is now she takes up a Lieutenants position that I know could be filled by the current promotion list of more quailified officers.
Is that an Lt. with a take home black crown vic with deep, dark tinted windows?
Oh great now she only has the means to screw up one watch where is she going let me guess Tucker
I guess here's where the rubber meets the road! Good luck to her. Which precinct?
I wish her well
Lets not jump too hard on Lt. Ramey. She only took what was GIVEN to her. I'm sure alot of people would have done it. Nonetheless she earned the LT rank she has now went back to it so lets give her a chance.
Ramey is a very sweet person, but she was my Sgt. and trust me when the crap hit the fan she can not lead. She also has a tough time making decisions. Like I said she is a great person but I would not trust her on the street. I do speak from experience
If she's going to Center, my guess would be morning watch...unless they move an Lt. that's already at Center. Morning is curretly short one Lt.
As far as making decisions..... if she keeps a low profile and lets her team and their Sgt's police, she'll do fine. She won't really need to do much.
In my opinion......The best Lt.'s are one or the other....
1) seldom seen or heard from....or
2) the Lt. that rolls up the sleeves and gets out on the street to work with the team. I had an Lt. last year that was typically out of the precinct before we could get cars. That Lt. was priceless and appreciated!
