At last, quality, accurate journalism from the AJC.

This article read so much better without before all the Bolton quotes were added this morning. However, someone at the AJC has a good sense of humor based on the excellent Bolton photo that ran with the article.

The Kimbrough note is PRICELESS, and will be priceless in court. Nothing like a good piece of evidence to go along with unapproved comp days. Thanks for leaving that note behind Kimbrough, nothing Mickey Mouse about that.

Not only is Terrell Bolton under scrutiny for falsification of documents, but several terminations from the Atlanta Metro area police agencies are being monitored for similar types of falsification. I know of a few police officers who have had face to face meetings with members of the AG office in reference to their case, and the AG's office is getting tired of unsubstatiated claims, false accusations, and falsification of official documents keeps showing up at their office for revocation of peace officer certifications.

The documents tied to these terminations show imbelishments of facts, and some out right perjury where officers were investigated illegally and or terminated based on possible falsification of elements. Some of these agencies have engaged in similar tactics of Terrell Bolton, and has also raised questions as to the integrity of Georgia P.O.S.T investigators who have handed over these investigations to the Attorney General's office where it clearly shows bias on the part of these investigators in favor of the terminating department. Let's just say that a multi-tiered inquiry is in the works, and officers may soon not have to worry about bogus charges on trumped up and unsubstatiated allegations.

When the same names of those investigating charges in agencies, and the same names approving terminations keep popping up on certain investigatory agencie's radar, you can say before long, these command staff and executives need to start worrying about big brother, their career, and their freedom.

POST....POST is a joke. So much for being the certifying agency and the agency responsible for maintaining standards.

If they were serious about standards, ethics and professionalism they would have yanked Don Franks' ticket and the ticket of the detective who used NCIC/GCIC and her position to get the picture of the woman sleeping with her husband who is an Sgt. at Dekalb.

How long did stories of improper use of GCIC/NCIC run in the AJC...I'm shocked that Dora Tab can stand up and tell us with a straight face that we can be "prosecuted and/or sued."

Don't even bring up POST....they're worthless.
