Unique? Hmmm....that's not quite the first word that came to my mind.
How does one defend publicly telling a graduating class that there is a chain of command and you are to disregard what the CEO just told you?
I'd call that insubordinate.
The past election obviously didn't mean a thing to Bolton. Guess he figured he was still answering only to the man who hired him, FORMER-CEO Vernon Jones.
