Under The Catagory Of "It Could Happen To You"

In the case of APD's shooting of Kathryn Johnston being reviewed by a "citizen review board", "The International Brotherhood of Police Officers, in court papers filed Monday, argued the review board was not entitled to files of open investigations into officer-involved shootings. The union said handing over the files could endanger those officers’ rights to due process".

“The premature release of departmental information and records would jeopardize the integrity of the investigation and the involved officers’ rights,” IBPO attorney David A. Beall wrote in his request for an injunction.

We temporarily have someone at the top that I trust.....but yeah, I could see this happening to a Dekalb officer.

They'd sell you out for very little.

We're expendable and "easily replace" by a raw recruit who thinks he or she can crush crime by giving out tickets for broken headlights, failure to use blinkers, etc, etc....

Why aren't these officers in jail yet over this Kathryn Johnston murder? Yet, we hurried up and found the killers of Bryant and Barker. I guess when law enforcement is involved, we have to find someway to toss the blame back at the citizens. APD has yet to even offer a public apology for breaking into this citizen's house over false material. I guess it pays to have a badge doesn't it. You get perks that citizens don't get.
