I'm not diggin it, maybe its my old age and bad eyes but the blue background layout makes it hard to read the words.
I thought the blue was a symbolic move. Thin Blue line. Stay safe out there!
I agree with Slamin Ethel. Blue background definitely is hard on the eyes...and I have 20/20 vision. How 'bout rethinking this one? I love your blog. Please, please don't ever go away!
Maybe make it a darker blue and lose the italic fonts all over the place.

I like it, every so often one has to update their web presence and vision.
I'm with Ethel....not diggin it. Bring back the recent posts menu so we don't have to search forever.
