Burrell Ellis is following the political play book when it comes to raising taxes: When the people resist a tax hike, police will be laid off and crime will rise. The citizenry will be robbed and raped.
Kind of like having your taxes raised anyway.

Ellis did not support raising taxes for PD while he was running for CEO, yet once he's elected, he wants to raise taxes. All of this after funding a move of the CEO's staff and offices to fancy new digs as well as 250k for a public safety director.
When will enough be enough!!??
When taxpayers and every one else revolts against all of it including the School Board.
Mr Ellis said in his State of the County Address that morale in the Police Department has increased! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa,,,Sir,maybe you need to visit a precinct and talk to the rank and file. Chief Kliesrath came over Tucker radio last week and busted a sgt's chops on a call where shoplifters were on the ground. Chief K had no idea what he was talkig about, and his radio traffic was unprofessional and out of line. Why is a Chief directly addressing a sgt anyway? It's all about making myself look good at the expense of someone else. By the way Chief, it was that same sgt who had just chased down one of the perps on foot. Increased morale? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
feb 8, 2010 is when you can voice your concern to the school board..but you have to send an email to sign up to speak..i still have not heard back yet from the school board

Lost Dunwoody. Can you blame them? Everybody said their police force would fail and they wouldnt get the services they need. Man, dint quite work out like that huh. I'm eyeing that opening and every other one that comes out.
Dunwoody may have more money problems in the future. Look at their expenses and goals and what they buy.
It will all come around as a wake up call.
The 5ooo citizens who voted got their police department. The other 35ooo did not care.
