So sad that an innocent citizen had to lose her life. Some people might say he did good for the county by building a fire station or 2, truth is the county is getting bigger and we were gonna get new stations regardless if he was the chief or not. What else did he do? He ran the dept with an iron fist, was disliked by just about everyone who was under him. Good Riddance...hit the road jack and don'tcha comeback no moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..What u say!!!!

As I said before "The firings were a politically motivated knee jerk over-reaction by someone with no knowledge of fire service operations".

To BHH retired DeKalb Fire,

I have heard political motivation, knee jerk reaction, scapegoat and overreaction to describe the handling of the Dunwoody fire incident. They received a call of a fire. They went to the scene and they did not even get off of their truck to investigate. A lady lost her life because they did not do their job and they deserved to be fired. That is the way I see it but I have no knowledge of fire service operations. So what am I missing? What is it that I do not know about the situation that leads me to feel the way I do?

And by the way, I have spoken to approximately 30 DeKalb firefighters over the last couple of years and every damn one of them hated Foster’s guts! But maybe I just talked to the wrong ones and he was really an ok guy huh?

Anonymous response to BHH is right. Even my dog would turn is head in disgust. As A firefighter, leadership is required. Everyone on that truck was supposed to be a leader. This is very sad. I hate for a tradegy to be a lesson. "political knee jerk" wow! That ex-cheif's face should've been near the foot!
