So Wizard is calling for an outside audit of the 911 CAD system. Seems like he may be reading the blog after all.
Calling for an audit and actually implementing the findings are two separate things. Classic example is the resent findings by Georgia State University showing the county is bloated with unnecessary voters, we mean employees.
Odds are, once the audit is complete, the county will scream it doesn't have the money to fix the CAD system.

Ima Citizen and Im Perplexed.
I did some rough calculations of 200,000 phone users X 1.50 X 12 months and came up with 3.6 million dollars a year. Rough calculations for the 911 staff came to about 1.5 million dollars a year. Throw in another half a million for maintenance costs and the 911 center costs about 2 million a year. What is happening to the 1.6 million extra in yearly fees that are not used?
THE FEES ARE BING USED TO F@#$%^^& US IN THE SH^%$TTER...The main question on my mind is..if 911 salaries are being funded out of the 911 fees... WHY do they have to get cut 10%? I'll tell you why.. since communications was sweeped up under police the fees have been combined.. maybe the fees are paying those Impalas out back of 34..im ust saying.. and another thing.. a couple of Operators saw Bolton @ 34 the other day... 1 got hurt running away too.. she said he away about 3 feet long and yellowish brown.. he's been slithering in the kudzoo out front..BECAREFUL! bahahahahahahahahaa
I can save the county a lot of money....get rid of the cad system..we do not need an audit for that...change the cad system....having better hiring standards....have better training...just ask me..i have tons of ideas!
