No we have not been hacked. We changed servers knowing the county would be putting additional pressure on us.

In the process, a number of comments have been lost. We have learned a valuable lesson. Don't try translating Russian from a handbook.

Keep up the good fight!

What kind of pressure could the County use? For some reason, I think about the 1st Amendment. I could be wrong, but...

I think ,the blog was making a joke about county pressure.

We are not happy with your decision to change servers. We were planning to um.."monitor" your comments and revisit the property tax valuations of certain comment makers. Now you have removed that possiblity. How can we be proper county overlords now?

Hope you'll pay attention to a perspective from an outsider. 3 points I'd like to make.

Someone asked in another post how the first meeting in Dunwoody went. (I would like to hear how the second one went.) I was disappointed that more people weren't there (City Council mtg on same night, with a silly agenda item that had a lot of panties in a wad. Considering the big picture, I personally would have been embarrassed if I had chosen that meeting over the FocusDekalb meeting, but that's just me). (Exception given to FB who went to both!) Nevertheless, it was evident from several comments made at GPC that more citizens than I realized are very well aware of what is going on with you, and are horrified with the policy decisions of BE and the BOC. (including lack of prosecution of your perps by GKF's office!)

Re the FOP: Jeff W seems like a pretty humble guy, so I don't want to embarrass him. But in just one week, I have learned that anyone wondering about what he's doing to help you, has taken absolutely no time to talk with him, attend meetings, or just ask around. If those commenters did, they would know that he is working his ass off for you. He is absolutely sticking his neck out for you. He is completely committed to doing what he can to fix this, and has already met with, or trying to, with BE and BOC. Looks to me like he could use more of YOUR support. Stand by him the way he is standing by you.

Last but not least, DESPITE having a Dunwoody police force now, Dunwoody is STILL in Dekalb County. We DO recognize you, DKPD, as a key component to the success of our County - we support you, we are empathetic to your situation, and doing what we can to help.

Thank you, and good luck guys.

Speaking of illegal activities by Dekalb County, the promotional testing leaks are close at hand. Having taken and created the test questions most everyone realizes the manipulation of the bands. An Auburn rep is on the verge of admitting the promotional lists were circumvented to accommodate the promotion of certain individuals, and we ALL know of whom I'm speaking. This was done by dismissing particular questions to cater the test results of the individuals wanted for promotion. I'm not positive of the legal ramifications yet but rest assured the civil litigation with back pay and promotions will be devastating financially.

P.S. on the promotional testing comment. I was also advised prior by Auburn that Dekalb is the sole agency used by them that doesn't utilize a point structure for creating the promotional list based on evals, time in grade, etc. Is there REALLY a need to mention why? Couldn't create a 3 year veteran major then at the whim of the CEO.

To the Dunwoody resident offering support: Thanks for your kind words!

Our testing and promotional procedure is an absolute joke! I have nothing against the Auburn people but of course the test has been manipulated for certain people. This is one of the reasons we have such poor leadership now. Look at the dumbasses that have been promoted! NOBODY should be promoted based on a test alone.

Curtis Williams was a Major in this police department. The man couldn’t spell Major if you gave him the M A J O! Of course there is also Ann Ramey, Don Frank, Rodney Rancifer, Flemister and who could forget Margarita Williams. That is a fine list of real leaders there and the list could go on.

And we currently have to deal with the Irish Mafia. An arrogant bunch of do nothing jack asses! Yeah that’s right, screw you too! You are no better than the last crew. When we had a black chief, he put a bunch of incompetent dumb asses in positions of power because of their race or because of their friends. Now we have a white chief and guess what? Same damn thing!

I am not taking sides on this issue when it comes to race. I think all of you are full of shit! When you become the chief, and get power, all you care about is taking care of your friends and to hell with everybody else. Is there anyone out there who actually cares about the POLICE DEPARTMENT more than they care about their damn friends?

This rant may cut a little too deep and be too close to the truth to actually get posted. Maybe I will be surprised.

Good Lord... don't get our hopes up on "promotional testing leaks are close at hand".....

You're leaving us hanging!

There are a lot of officers who would like to see some payback for the manipulation of lists.

Is someone looking at this who can do something about it?....Even if it's just sit down with Ms. Fleischer and expose it to the light of day.

Unless you are a made individual, the whole process seems to be a waste of time.....even more so going forward.

If you don't get promoted this time, you can hang it up for the next round. They just gave two years to those who have been here for a while in order to make the early retirement package more attractive. That being said, the number retiring over the next two years will be minuscule.

If I wasn't tied in via the old retirement package that I fall under.....I'd be Dunwoody bound.

I said I would be surprised if that rant was posted. So called me surprised! Pleasantly surprised! Desperate times call for the truth to be written and spoken, even when it stings. Of course that is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Disgruntled bastards or sober, clear thinking officers.. That is the question. ..are the tests fixed or above board?

They have been screwing with the test scores to get their pals in for many years. So what's new here? Burgess was the worst....or should I say the best at stocking slots with HIS good ole boy gang.
