A Word From Janey Cain, Wife of Officer Eddie Cain

Eddie's 35 years of service to Dekalb County PD was his life.

God has blessed his family with many friends and loved ones from those years.
Thanks for the wonderful comments.

May God Bless who serve today.

Sincerely,

Janey Cain and family

Eddie Cain was one of the real ones who made Dekalb a good police department and one of the best. He was quiet and reserve and dedicated to the job.

Janey, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Sorry to hear your sad news. I know what you are going through and it's not easy. It does your heart good to hear/read the positive comments left by others about your loved one. Take care and God Bless.

Eddie Cain was what every rookie hope they would achieve. I guessing in his prime he was an awesome officer to confront. I met him when he was at the end of his career. He took time to talk and give me the directions to survive in this world of uncertainly. I think he cared a great deal for the officers who were following him. I will never forget him. I left the department but I still remember what he gave to me.

I worked with Eddie at South Precinct back when you could police in DeKalb County. Eddie was a good man and a good police officer. Never had a bad word for anyone. He had a house fire many years ago and I never heard him complain or feel sorry for himself. He lived and worked in South Precinct. I certainly hate to hear this news. Rest in peace Eddie.
