Same Song And Dance

Here we go again. Another special Grand Jury investigating corruption within DeKalb County. Yawn.

Save the tax dollars, we already know the out come. But what does amaze us, is how that convicted racist Dick Stogner continues to get away with stuff, and how he keeps popping up in the middle of all these corruption allegations.

Same Song and Dance.... I'm hearing the same melody that played in the background when they told us about the "employee retention program/take homes" and wanted us to fill out the survey.

Another...look, we're trying.

Slight of hand anyone? Look over there, while I'm robbing you blind over here. Let focus on the current problems in DeKalb, not the crap we already know Vernon was up to. He's out of office, Ellis is our current Chief Extortion Officer. There is no "Special Grand Jury" that can fix the problems of DeKalb. It doesn't matter what the citizens of this county come up with, the CEO and BOC will do whatever they want. Just look at the University study we paid for and then decided to ignore because it told them what they did not want to hear (the truth). One the Feds are finished looking into the FrontRunnerz and BiggDog, hopefully they will have uncovered enough info to move into a full fledged investigation and prosecution of the crooks in this county. Sure some will slip through the cracks as they have for decades, but at least it will be a step in the right direction.

Ahh,
Interesting stuff me guess but what is most interesting is how Chief OBrien has been courted to be the new Chief in Brookhaven...I guess we saw this a comin and I'm sure he'd be taking a few of his good ole mates with him. Best of Luck mates!!

Guess its best since the rest of us heer will be fed to tha crocs...(hint BOC)

Vernon Jones left a legacy in this County from which we may never recover. And just WHAT has Ellis done to correct the damage? Take your time. I don't know much about the other two candidates running for CEO, but I'll tell you this. Process of elimination works pretty well up to the end, so in my opinion, there are only 2 candidates to consider, and their initials are NOT BE.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT work for the County, nor do I have ANY affiliation with the other 2 candidates. I am, however, a resident of the County, and if I could move, I WOULD.

The current administration just took the place of the last one that left office.

What has change - he has expensive vehicles to drive him around with a full staff of security.

He just another VJ and look at everything that has his picture on it.

Look at his security detail at his office and every where he goes.

Nothing has change except the name- and wait til the new Chief of Police retires. Get use to saying Chief Holmes as your new Chief.

Can someone please post the definition of fact and opinion.

Fact: Holmes's secretary's car smelled like weed, a drug sniffing did went right to her car, she was never drug tested, Holmes, Miller, and Ellis covered it up and investigated the officers who smelled the weed and the dog handler.

Not necessarily on topic but speaking of corrruption, we might not have all the corruption in the police department if Internal Affairs would actually investigate allegations of misconduct. It seems some of the supervisors in that unit are scared of rocking the boat in fear of being transferred from their comfortable positions. Its a shame, because if properly staffed and unleashed a proactive IA unit could hunt down (no pun intended) and get rid of a lot of the perps who wear our uniform. Unfortunately, even if such a unit did exist they would still have to answer to the directors office thereby reducing their effectiveness as they would probably be told that certain employees were not to be investigated.

Anon 10:55 you are obvious in your motives. I wonder who your friends are. Let's guess. Let's try the Veneble clan of Stone Mountain.

Why are county patrol cars being used by off duty officers working for private security companies. Who pays for the gas while they are riding from one shopping center to the other. Why are they not using the security companies cars? Tax payers are getting screwed while owner of security company is getting rich.

ahhh, again truth is spoken about ranking officials, oh wait their black so they cant be wrong. If anyone says anything bad about them and they are white, it must be racial. Get over it.

Come on, Anon 5:16pm! Tell us the real story! What did 10:55 get wrong? Did those events happen or not? Or are you just going to hide behind your race card?

Those events happened. I know this for a fact. Anon 10:55 is absolutely correct in that statement. Officers were still being investigated last week. We know the motives of Anon 5:16, probably helping to cover everything up for Holmes and Wiz.
