Hey Judge Nellie, Where's The Missing 90 Million Dollars?

Whoa Nellie! Are you serious? You have 90 million dollars missing from your court and you're worried about how people dress?

Besides, you're taking the entertainment value out of going to court.

This must be what we enforce!!! Never mind the drugs, guns, and corruption going on....we rather have them pay their fines properly dressed!(insert sarcastic look) I'm dont mind that perps show up in inappropriate clothing, Im just happy that they show up compared to the hundreds that blows off court (and fines never collected). Whats next, we have to have ties and hat for court?

Follow the rules. That's what got you to recorders court in the first place. The judge has standards of decorum and is enforcing them. No different than superior court. Get over it, the rules aren't new.

I think she's been watching too many episodes of Fashion Police!
Seriously now - this judge needs an ego adjustment. If people are trying to GIVE you money, just shut up (stfu!) and take it!!
(Besides, have you seen how county EMPLOYEES dress??!!??!!)
Gimme a break.

Ya'll better get off of Judge Withers! She has done a better job in there than any of her recent predecessors. A general dress code must be established and enforced because this county if filled with low class riff-raff. It is unfortunate that this lady, who was tastefully dressed, was denied access to the court but if the S.O. was allowed to play fashion police and use their descretion and the next person had on a distasteful tank top and that next person was a minority, then there would be a bigger uproar because then the news report would be that the court is racially discriminatory. Judge Withers can't win for losing. You better be glad she has a thick skin and self-confidence or she would probably get the hell outta here to make more money with less hassle and no publicized BS like this to listen to.

Hats off to the Judge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And thank you. !!!!!!!! Thank you for teaching these miscreants ...... a touch of class ....and dignity.

Believe it or not ladies and gentleman government (ie Judge Nellie) do have a duty to shape society.

If one is only paying a fine at the window, then who cares how they are dressed. Lets take the money because many aren't paying period. I don't see any dress code at the other courts....And talking about other county employees, I've seen a roads and drainage guy with dreds down to his waist, officers with corn rows and gold cap teeth..........NICE!!! That's who I want at my front door when there is a problem...........

Ok you f@#$@ sticks let's be honest, the lady had a little too much back fat to be wearing it anyway.
It looked as if she went through a hail storm.

You folks must understand that your moronic statements make this blog even less credible than it already is. What this blog needs is a moderator to weed out the asinine comments. Your true colors are showing with each childish remark.

The issue is not dress code for court. If you are going in to pay a fine or inquire about your case, a dress code is not necessary. If you are going to trial, then you need to dress for the occasion. Why would one need to put on a top hat to come pay a ticket?

Dekalb Public Safety, once again, more concerned about the wrong thing. Lets get aggressive about ridding this county of crime. Stop looking the other way when you see crime, make some arrests. When you have people killing each other at a funeral, that speaks volumes about the quality of life in your community.

Only in Dekalb County Ga can a government agency, as in Recorders Court, lose 90 MILLION dollars and nobody looks into it and nobody is held responsible. But they don't miss a step screwing the pay of the rank and file, while keeping their own status quo...plus. No wonder Dunwoody and Brookhaven want out of this psycho minagerie.
