All murders must burn, if not now, in the after life!

The jury did the right thing. Let's hope they follow through on the sentencing.

Hey Mr. blog master how bout posting something about the stress level around here caused by our Brass. Tucker Precinct had a veteran Sgt. quit on the job this past Saturday from the BS stress his Lt. was putting on him. No notice just quit!!!!! This place is rediculous.

Anon October 15, 2012 7:26 AM, you'll probably start to see more officers and sergeants quitting.

The brass and Decatur won't realize what they've done until the good ones are gone.

Money is an issue... that being said, if they can't fix the money issue, they have to give officers and supervisors a REASON to come to work.

Right now, I don't really look forward to or get much enjoyment out of work. Now....I wouldn't hesitate to call in sick if I had half a reason. Years ago, I'd do anything to get in to work.... I was having so much fun, it wasn't work.

Friday's used to be something you didn't look forward to because that meant time away from the fun we were having. Now, officers (and I) are focused solely on getting to the weekend.

I don't know.... I don't see things changing and am looking hard at retirement. No reason to stay. The young guys.... put your time in...get the experience and JUMP... Dekalb is an excellent training ground....not a career.

I heard about the Tucker Sgt. Could be a symptom of a problem, but will probably be swept away by painting the Sgt. as disgruntled, by the staff out there. Doesn't surprise me that it happened there. I heard that the female officers that get into trouble out there, bypass the chain and go to a certain female on the staff there, and the right ups get watered down and/or swept away. If it's true, then you could see how the male officers and supervisors would get pissed off.

Who is the Sgt. that quit?

Hey Mr. Anonymous 10.15.2012 @ 7:26am....talking about stress level at Tucker Precinct brass...you left out the part that the Sgt is going thru divorce, financial problems and found a job in construction. I dont think a veteran officer would suddenly just up without other "outside forces" you failed to leave out. You want to bitch tell the whole story when you are sticking up for a friend

Actually 12:29, I think all of those "outside forces" could lead someone to quit their job, but they would still likely give the standard two weeks notice. When someone just walks out of work, that says something about the work environment. That doesn't say to me,"money and divorce problems." That says, "This plus sucks! I can't stand to be here one minute longer!"
