If Burrell trial does not start by August 30, 2013, he will get his job back. The DA has the case going to trial on August 19, 2013. So the WEASEL has asked to Judge to postpone the trail until the end of the year, so he can get his job back.

WEASEL, you have loss, your going to jail, and leave CEO May alone.

Now, let's see who's next? Come on DA bring all those people to trail.

What's going on at S.O?

Thought for a minute that the blog master might have gotten hired by Brookhaven. Been pretty quiet lately!

KUDOS To Sheriff Thomas Brown and the spokes person for having a back bone in reference to their deputies in a 27 that was recorded via cell phone last night and is breaking news today, while serving a warrant. This is what DKPD needs Chief. We need you to have our backs and I'm sure you will. One thing I can say APD Chief Turner will get on the news and back his Officers to the end no matter what. DKPD NORMALLY gets on the news and say to the citizens "These Officer are under investigation etc, etc, etc. This is so embarrassing and it makes us looks bad know it or not. DKPD step up to the plate. We've already hit rock bottom, we can only get better guys. Also DKPD stop writing Officers up, making Officers scared/not want to do their jobs, and lets make this County a great one. I believe in this County and know that it can be done. BE SAFE!

Good Job Sheriff Brown for not letting criminal get the upper hand on your deputies.... I know and believe that Chief Alexander would do the same for PD but there is still cowards among us.... I met a young man a few months back and he stated to " Do you know who I am" and replied who are you and he stated to me you better ask Officer Hudson who I am in a more explicit way and went on to say that I will have your job fuck ass police.... I took a moment to reflect on what this perp said to me and it saddened me so much to know that an officer life had been destroyed by a prep that had murdered someone in cold blood.... People wake up the hunt is on and it is from within..... Cover yourselves..... No one else will..... So sad.....

5:55PM, what coverage were you watching? The spokesman said they had an arrest warrant for her, but also said their language was out of line and Thomas Brown, the same day, said that they would all be punished! If you think the grass is greener over at the Sheriff's Department, take your lazy ass over there like the rest of the lazy ass officers that left for the Sheriff's Department! If you're getting written up here, I'm going to guess it's for stupidity!

Hey Capts., when Chief sent order down for you to attend two roll calls a week. I don't believe his idea was for you to make the Officers 10-12 at the end of their long day for you to come in at your leisure, and tell them nothing. Way to lead guys, and by the way we all know you guys are Capts. And we don't really care!

Anon 5:55,
Yes, the brass is quick to jump in front of the media to denounce officer misconduct. Have you heard any brass say one word about the CEO's misconduct? Exactly!

Former Dekalb County Employee but does anyone know what happen to the Officers in this video?

I'm not sure what you're talking about because the article I read yesterday said that Thomas Brown vowed to PUNISH the officers involved in serving that warrant.

Sheriff Brown is going to make a run for Hank Johnson's congressional seat, so don't think he would hesitate to throw every one of his empoyees at the S.O. under the bus if it threatens his chances of being elected.

The sad reality of law enforcement today is that you are on your own out on the street. Officers need to make good decisions out there because you are not going to be supported by the department or its commanders.

No, it CAN get worse and probably will!

Can anyone clarify why the fire marshal wears a DeKalb County Chief of Police badge on his uniform. Have we merged and where did he come from. This looks like a serious liability for our department or is he one of our chiefs?

Anonymous said...

Hell,I work here at S.O. and the Sheriff ain't got our back. We are just lucky that the people involved are black folks and don't live on the northside. Pay attention the Sheriff never goes public unless it involves the northside or whites. If it was the northside involving whites Jeff Mann would not been on tv, the Sheriff would have.

Anonymous said...

To 2:26 pm he went to North Metro Tech and got a POST certificate. Never trained a minute with DKPD but thinks he is Officer of The Year and Chief of Police. Gonna get sued or someone killed.

Concerning the DeKalb Fire Marshall = What the hell has this office ever done to make DeKalb Safer ?

Dangerous overcrowding issues at bars all over DeKalb.

How can you have over one hundred cars parked around an old Dairy Queen in Gresham Park. That's what Bigelo's use to be. Just more palms geting greased, I guess ?

So much for Thomas Brown having their back!

KK Jones had something to say about this? Talk to anyone anywhere he has worked. You either hate him, or you haven't met him. Didn't he get caught shredding documents in IA after he left IA? Didn't he quit at MARTA after he totaled his take home car and stunk of alcohol but refused a breathalyzer? This is your spokesman for "standards." What a joke!

Anonymous said...

How can officers do their jobs effective if the boss is not behind them?

Would Brown have suspended the officers or demoted another if the same incident happened on Line Street? No because Line Street people don't vote. Is Brown running for a Congressional seat?

Anonymous said...

To Aug 12 3:54 Brown has said he is interested in running for Hank Johnson's seat in Congress. One article said he HAS decided to run. Who really knows? But let's go ahead and work on getting all those voters psyched up with all the good things he has done and continues to do for the county so if it does come true, well, there you go...voters all set. Does anybody now what happened to those thousands of dollars in cash found in a coat pocket in a closet at S.O. after Brown took office? Wasn't the story something about "cash bond" money? o k..so where did it wind up?

Anonymous said...

Thomas Brown has a Facebook page about running for Congress.

@ 8:01pm, who went on vacation or got a new vehicle after the money was not reported? There goes your answer.

Anonymous said...

That family in Ellenwood said, they want all the officers fired. Those officers have families and why do you want to see them fired? Did anyone get hurt? No! I bet that cell phone that video taped the incident had text messages of illegal activity. Please subpeona the cell phone company and get those text messages. If you paid your fine, none of this would have happened. Now them low-life's trying to file a lawsuit, they don't know any monies award to a Citizen from a lawsuit involving law enforcement, DFCS is notified.

Therefore, the money will go back to the State because you know they getting public assistance.

Do you remember when the White Dekalb Detective jumped thru the window at the McDonald's drive-thru? Did the white customer say, I want him fired? No

It's just black people who want to see other black people go down.

I know the blog master will not print this but I tried

There you have it, Ladies and Gentlemens. Thomas Edison Brown headed to Congress or Unemployment? The question again is, whom back does he has? Definitely not his employees. K.K. Jones ass kisser, brown noser.

Anonymous said...

How was this video shocking, open the damn door when the 911 operator tells you it is the police outside. I'm sure that a few vulgar words did not harm this family. Better yet don't have a damn warrant and the police will not be at your door. This is a diversion tactic to get the attention off the suspect and onto the deputies. The media falls for it every single time. Words worst than those heard there are used against officers every single day and the media could care less. Go to hell Tom Brown and your little spokesman I will do all that I can to campaign against you for congress. Even voting for that retard Hank Johnson.

The chief in question with his police chief badge is definitely a huge liability for the county. Bragging about all of his police credentials and never a day of training. Another promotion that was made due to being a friend of someone. This guy needs to be told to lock away his new toys or better yet return them to supply because a news story and lawsuit are sure to follow!

Anonymous said...

How long did it take the people that taped the deputies on camera to open the door after they identified themselves and who they were looking for ? I heard it was at least a half hour.
Second point- some people only understand bad language and agressive speech. Please sir/ mamm does not work on everyone. As soon as the news comes and the lawsuit chatter starts, the spinless leadership hangs the peons out to dry. Hows the saying go... "the perps attack from the front and the county comes in from the rear"
SERENITY NOW

Anonymous said...

How can all of these promotions (salary increases) possibly be justified with a continually shrinking department in jurisdiction and personnel?

To 2:33 pm Let me get his straight I could have skipped all that tire carrying at the academy and gone to a trade school. Is that what we have reduced ourselves to is a couple months at a trade school and get sworn in. Wow, never ceases to amaze me how much we continue to lower the standards! Please tell me that this is not true.

Anonymous said...

I agree, if anything, demotions would be more fiscally responsible.

Anonymous said...

Since Sneiderman trial has ended, I guess the next case will be with the building department of Dekalb. I see one of our permit techs has resigned and went on to greener ($$$) pastures.

Tire carrying makes you a better officer, trade school certs make you a Chief.

Special Grand Jury Report:::::

Start reading from page 14. Interesting stuff. A certain Asst Chief may have some explaining to do.

Anonymous said...

To 2:47 pm he definitely is a trade school chief. You probably saw him parading his new gun and handcuffs around at the memorial like dirty Harry. This clown is gonna get someone killed showing off. Either make him go through proper field training or lock away all the police toys that he is so proud of.

Anonymous said...

Guess they teach you to state in interviews how a person was "calm, cool, and collective" at that school. Perhaps he meant to illustrate how someone was collecting seashells in Dekalb County Florida where he is Chief.

Anonymous said...

Why is our in-house chiefs are only allowed to serve as place holders for the next catastrophe brought in from elsewhere?

Anonymous said...

I thought they were bashing Alexander again too. I'm getting tired of it. Give the guy a chance.

old warhorse said...

WHOA! Easy!! Damn, everybody stop and take a deep breath, before "shots are fired". Come on guys, these police chiefs are not real police officers anymore. They are administrators. Pure and simple. Just like any supervisor: the more rank/the farther away from the street. Thats why you only see the "chief" out on major incidents involving news/press releases. They are basically like the old military generals that stay far away from the battles as poss, and send "you" out to fight! FIGURE-HEADS. Nothing more, nothing less. Just another county department "whipping boy"!!

Anonymous said...

I want to be a chief, what trade school was it so I can enroll. After watching this guy I'm leaning more towards 2am infomercial call 1800 and get your police chief diploma.

anom: 8/24-- 9:38. Yeah buddy!!! Anthony Weiner is a Ivey league graduate, and he has definitely been in front of a camera!! What's your point?? Asst.Chief Mumbles "Uh,what wuz we talking about again" Holmes and Director "Oh shit,my ass is probably going to prison, too" Miller are both "EDUCATED,COLLEGE MEN". You have EDUCATION,and then you have edg- ah-kayshun! You obviously have the two criteria levels confused!! Why hell, I reckon I'm as good a college man as all of them, too. I am a proud U.C.L.A. alumni.(UPPER CLARKSTON LOWER AVONDALE @ DEKALB). I "LERNT" that using nasty profanity,or cuss words to express "yo-self" are not only the indications of a very limited vocabulary, but "branes" as well!! Wheel yu steel bee mah frin anne guud budy .Eye relly hoppe sew.

And Biggelow's still no action! Must be some pay offs going on. Guess as usual the county will act when someone gets killed in these over crowded places.

Anonymous said...

To 11:01 am its not just Biggelows that has the hookup or payoff, there is quite a few others. Creme Ultra Lounge, Jay's Place, Velvet Room, Coco Loco, Acapulco's, Secrets, just to name a few. You will never see any enforcement just DeKalb Cops working J2 and turning a blind eye. Code Enforcement, Fire Marshal, Vice, Permits, etc. not a thing from any. We all know why, Owners contributing to commissioners, paying off zoning, part time jobs for PD, inspectors who only work bankers hours, shall I go on? Too many officers worried that if they club shuts down so will their part time. Owners know that they have them in their back pockets! Notice that when the news coverage went away so did they made up lets get strict enforcement campaign.
