Retired Captain D.D. Wilson has been admitted in to Piedmont/Henry County hospital in very serious conditions.
Please keep him and his family in your prays.

D.L.Smith,aka"Smitty",DKPD(ret) ,called me today and advised me of D.D.'s condition. He has been out of state @ The Cancer Centers of America/Oklahoma. Unfortunately,upon his return home,he was re-admitted to the hospital. D.D.is,and has been suffering from stomach cancer for a while. Knowing D.D.,as I do,he probably did not want to advertise this,because he just doesn't want to bother anybody. Smitty paid a visit earlier this week,and advised that D.D. is not doing well at all. In police parlance, D.D. "is low sick". Just from talking with Smitty,I hope for the best,but I expect the worst. D.D. was always an outstanding officer, in all he did,and as a superior officer,he never forgot where he came from.(the road). Please pray for D.D.,and his family. If you never met D.D.,worked around him,or for him,you will never know what you missed!!!! What a stand up guy.
DD is in my prayers. Get well soon brother in blue.

D.D. is one of the good guys.He is one of my favorite people who I worked with at the police dept. He was a real leader.I hope his final journey is peaceful. His family should know how much we appreciated his honesty and his great sense of humor.
Any doubts about D.D. are forever erased. He was told about his close friend/JT,last week. He cried,unashamedly,because he could not be there to help him. A man's man,for sure !
D.D. would whip a perps ass in a heart beat. One fine narcotics officer too.
J.T. needs help?
Knowing JT, probably not. They were both close from early on,being young officers together,and fellow Marines.

D.D. was at home for a short time. Unfortunately, he has had to be readmitted to the hospital.Please keep D.D. and family in prayer.
