How many higher level crooks operate or have operated in the cesspool known as Dekalb County?

Majette was never a Recorder's Court judge, much less Chief Judge. She was however a State Court judge that had a horrible reputation as a judge before she beat Cynthia McKinney for a seat in the U.S. House. I believe you are confusing Judge Joy Walker (I think that was her name) with Majette. It was Judge Walker who was Chief Judge of Recorder's Court when the millions came up missing and preceded Chief Judge Nelly Withers.

On one hand, she got rid of McKinney. On the other hand, she's a thief. Lets call it a wash.

Wow!!!! But nothing was said about Elaine Boyer on this biased blog. Talk about double standard. Sc

Where's the story about Elaine Boyer? Took no time to post this story.

Affiliation with Erkle. Birds of a feather flock together. Erkle and Magette are both under 5' tall

She showed no remorse or responsibility. Interesting.

Our apologies for not posting the Elaine Boyer story. Her story was published in the AJC.

The AJC, for the most part, is "pay for reading" or we must have a subscription.

We won't pay spit for the AJC. We'll continue to collect discarded papers to wrap our fish with.

Thank you for reading.

As I have said before many times, the people of DeKalb County elect those who they want to represent them; Those who truly represent how they feel and how they operate. Well, they did and they have. Vernon Jones, Cynthia McKinney, that turd of a sheriff who killed Derwin Brown whom I refuse to ever speak his name again (but murdering TURD fits nicely), the latest CEO, Drunken Magistrate Judges on the bench (YES its true) and now this latest thief.
These clowns are the perfect representatives of the majority of the voters in DeKalb.....if not....how did they win the elections?
As Police Officers we strive for TRUTH, INTEGRITY and JUSTICE. We Swore an OATH to defend and protect the Constitution of the UNITED STATES, and to HELP those in need with our very lives if needed.
Is it any wonder that WE always get screwed over by these elected officials and those within the department who were put in place by these elected criminals?
Citizens of DeKalb County....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

DeKalb County Commissioner Elaine Boyer, a crusader for cutting government spending, has rung up thousands of dollars in personal purchases on her county Visa card. The purchases include airline tickets bought during times the commissioner and her husband were having financial problems, an investigation by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution found.

She reimbursed the county for many of the expenses within days, weeks or months. Some said that is tantamount to using taxpayer money as a bank for bridge loans.

Getting far far away from that shit hole was the best decision I ever made.

Barnes Sutton 87 was suspiciously omitted as well.

With all the criminals we have to deal with on duty, and now that I'm retired, I often think about being a vigilante. Any dirt scum bag who injures/murders innocent people should be dealt with "eye for an eye" justice. If the crime was revolting enough I really think that I could cap his ass and save the justice system a whole lot of money, time and encarsaration costs. Don't know if I could really do it but the thought is always entertained.

Hey idiots! We have always had crooks. Please, Manual Maloof was investigated for having county employees work on his home. He purposely got rid of the DUI task force when it had 10 officers on it. The Unsolved murder of Officer Corn. The hotel scandal. In the late 70s our sherriff, Ray Bonner, stood trial for murder. Missing drug money after the arrest of a 28 perp. The major difference is that we had Dick Hand, Steve Schilldecker, Tom White and the county was rich before white flight and 2007 depression. When we were in the dekalb police hey day with a great reputation Dekalb Police was a good ole boys club with the best equipment in the world. They (the good ole boys) were just as corrupt but much more discrete. Some supervisors enjoyed being very vengeful. Many officers took pride in ducking report calls and their supervisors were too weak to stop the practice. The Ass kissing has always been horific. The big problem now is that dekalb officers are not getting paid what hey are worth. We were always the highest paid in the state until the mid 2000s.

A totally useless individual whose ego got in the way of everything she touched

Speaking of Judge Walker....Wasn't it....Immajean Walker or something like that?

What ever happened to her? She was such a joy to try to get a warrant from.....

Purely wasted space. Never didn't anything good for the county

Since when is it ok to use a county credit card for personal use? Boyer says she is reimbursing after it was brought to her attention. What would she have done if it wasn't brought to her attention? Gee officer, I was just taking this car, but now that you stopped me, I'll give it back and be on my merry way.

I remember I had a DUI case with her....I stayed away from them because of her....The attorney argued something about the Implied Consent card was not read in a timely manner and that the implied consent that was read was the wrong one.....
He actually stated that the implied consent that was read was one for boating under the influence...(which there is no such thing-at that time)
She agreed and threw the case out. When I asked her why....that a boat was not driven down 285....her response was..... "ho well...sounded good". I asked her then how much he contributed to her campaign fund.....she caught herself half way through the answer on the amount.....then told me to leave.
One other case....guy turned a .521...his 14th DUI....with his 15th pending in Gwinnett Co.-her response was ...there is nothing we can do to him sense he has a pending in Gwinnett county.....4 days served!....case dismissed due to time served.
This piece of crap called a judge???...then she got elected to the next position???...Granted she got rid of another piece of shit(McKinney).....another outstanding citizen of DeKalb....
her old man was extremely racial....and he would openly tell you that. Just wish I would have had a body camera then!!!

This county needs a big enema!!!

One more question....why the hell is Berrell still on the payroll???....anybody else would have been fired!!!...don't care if it is an elected position...
do you know how many cars could be bought with that dumb ass off the payroll!!!

You just can't make this up!!!

First, Elaine Boyer has always supported police and fire more than anyone, and secondly, detectives, she had already reimbursed most of it. The remaining charges were recent. Of all places, I would expect that a police blog would make sure the FACTS are presented. But seems you prefer to drink the Hater-ade. Disappointing, to say the least.

Somehow it don't seem right to mention Dick Hand, Bobby Burgess, Schilldecker and the like in the context of Burrell, Majette, and anyone currently holding the rank of Capt and higher. These current cretins couldn't hold the bucket the legends piss in!

Anonymous said...

Hey Anon 9:38 PM, It doesn't matter that she paid MOST of the money back. The point is that she was not supposed to use a taxpayer funded credit card for her personal use to begin with. If a police officer had done that sort of crap, the picture that would be shown on the news would be their booking photo.

As for "supporting police and fire" Elaine Bowyer has talked a good game but when it comes to actually doing something I have seen little action from her.

Sigh....DeKalb's getting really sad - worse than a joke. Any good news in DeKalb? Something those of us who are retired can hold on to and hope the County doesn't default on our pension fund?

Anonymous said...

Yes, Boyer has been a big supporter of police and fire. BUT she needs to understand the difference between restitution and reimbursement. She was never authorized to use the county credit card for personal purposes. She's making restitution after she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

Anonymous said...

The fact is Elaine Boyer used the p-card for personal purchases.

9:38PM,

She may say she supports police, but her actions speak louder than her words. What has she ever done for us? I haven't seen or heard her fighting for raises for us. I did see her make critical statements about the take home car program. She doesn't want anyone outside of the county to have one. That's not supporting us. I had the misfortune of eating lunch with her and another officer years ago. It was an hour of her talking all about herself and how hard her job is. Yeah, those free lunches on the taxpayer's dime must be tough! No money for raises, but lots of money for her to stuff her face at Matthews and Taco Mac! Not once did she ask about us or our jobs, or what we thought she could do for the department. It was all about her, the whole time. She wasn't supposed to be using that card to stuff her face with food. She knew it because she signed an agreement saying so. You think you would get away with "I didn't know" as an excuse for violating county policy when you signed for that policy? She only paid it back because she got caught. That's a perp. She only cares about herself, she only looks put for herself, she only does what's right when she's caught. Perp.

9:38 PM- it doesn't matter if Boyer supported law enforcement or not - does that excuse unethical, if not outright illegal behavior? Or, to review her reasoning, she didn't really notice what she was signing, she didn't know it was wrong, etc.? If she doesn't read what she signs doing Dekalb County business, that certainly makes her look more than a tad incompetent to hold the position as one of the stewards of county funds. I believe she used the county p-card as her version of a payday loan, maybe or maybe not to pay it back. She didn't know it was wrong? Puh-leeze!!! If I had done the same when I was a county employee, and yes, I had access to purchase items, my ass would be in jail. I read what I signed.

To April 1, 12:56 AM......

Maybe these new police and politicians are just legends in their own minds and that of the uninformed/uncaring voters who elect them.

I wonder if I am a legend there? Probably so... for all the wrong reasons! HAHAHA

..."Boyer said she apologized to the Board of Commissioners. She said she takes full responsibility for improperly using the card. She said she did not realize that she was not supposed to use the card for personal purchases, even though she has served as a commissioner for 20 years and signed an agreement stating the card was not for personal expenses. Boyer is longest-serving commissioner on the board."...

Did you all see the business owner offered a Doraville employee $100,000 to re zone his business? So working in the zoning department is big business for the 9 out of 10 dekalb county employees. It's only short time before the walls of the crooks in dekalb county come crumbling down. Hello Dekalb county zoning department! How much will it cost to re zone my business?
