This was one supervisor that everyone enjoyed working with and for ,due to his attitude.
He was a positive person and made decisions that were right in every direction.
I will miss knowing he is gone.

He was a good Captain, he didn't try and change the department or the world. He treated everyone with respect and you don't find that happening today.

If every supervisor had the leadership skills and the common sense of D.D. Dekalb County Police Dept would be the number 1 place to work. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He played a joke on me while I was working screening one day. Truly a great cop and human being. Condolences to the family and close friends.

DD you always had something good to say and when things were really looking bad you always made others feel better, even with a cop like me that never really fit in. They should have made you chief of Police instead of the some of these other clowns.
Rest in Peace Friend.

I worked for him at South Pct. when he was a lieutenant and I was a rookie. I also worked a part time with him at Motel 6 at I-20 and Wesley Chapel. He was a great guy and I was very sad to hear was sick. What sadden me even more is that I did not get a chance to see him recently before he died. I know he see's me and forgives me for not seeing him. You see, that's the type of guy he was.. Understanding and compassionate. He's in good hand. My prayers go out to his family.. See you soon... Your Friend Spanky..
