What law enforcement agency will arrest the zoning department and business license department? Make sure the arrest warrants are for each and every employee.

Anonymous said...

Sure hope our DA does his job...Prosecute those thieves in Decatur.

Anonymous said...

Everyday spent in this place is one more day of quality life that you have robbed yourself and your family of.....

If the DA prosecutes every Dekalb employee and past employee that deserves it, the court system couldn't handle the volume. Let's hope he is going after the most flagrant of them in high positions that have abused their authority and lined their pockets. This county is an ongoing criminal activity like the mob for years.

Please give up on your quest to have the zoning office executed. You were probably part of the problem and now your mad. Why don't you take all of your evidence to the GBI and do something constructive if you are so damn worried about it. I can assure you that your daily request to have the zoning department arrested on this blog are not going to get you any results!

Good luck w/ getting our DA to do anything that doesn't make him look like Harvey Dent!

Anonymous said...

@ 1:27, are there any results on this blog? No! So keep reading like the rest of the good folks in Dekalb County unless your the prep. The prep is always on the defense.

1:27pm, Have you ever heard the saying, A hit dog will holler?

5/2 schedule... what if traveling the hundred miles round trip that extra day is an economic hardship for me?

As desired by our president, gas princes are still going up.

Our illustrious D.A., Robert James, employs the selective prosecution tactic. He doesn't prosecute his friends. He can't prosecute the commissioners for stealing from the citizens because he didn't prosecute his assistant who did the same thing.

When is someone going to recognize the mass evacuation of trained officers? The small municipalties are the benefactors of our poor leadership in top level positions.

Has Dekalb County become more violent since Chief Cedric took over, or what?

How many killings a day do we have now?

When you have an area such as Dekalb so densely packed full of criminals all you can hope to do is displace the crime. It never truly lessens until you start evicting/banning these criminals from your county like so many others have done.

Another PD drops S&W M&P due to reliability issues. Does this county do ANY research? http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/04/foghorn/texas-dps-ditches-sw-mp-handguns-reliability-issues-returns-sig-sauer/

Can I really just post in here?

Anonymous said...

I suppose since no one here has been sued for libel proves the allegations of public officials here are dead on accurate.

I took some time out of my busy schedule to catch up on some of the comedy. You can't make this stuff up. I read something back from the middle of May about Dr. A. Will the real poster please continue. I just want to know what happen to that whole SWAT/Audio/Video. I would love to see it. Better yet, just post a transcript. I'm sure its comical...

Yep you!

Then again can you read?

I am glad to hear one clown is leaving the circus. See ya Capt. Newton, been nice but not real nice......

Funny how one can go from being the golden boy to the red headed step-child there overnight.

You can always identify the inept supervisors here. They are so insecure about their positions they constantly bark out nonsense in an attempt to cover up their gross incompetence. They are the ones that stay here way past their prime (not that they had one) because they weren't otherwise smart enough to plan financially. Try and avoid these idiots if you can though they are unfortunately plentiful here.

How many times can you say "every time a body drops" in a press interview? We get it, you learned a new catch phrase and it clearly has you charged up. Go audition for Training Day 2 and give us a break.

You guys need to take care of the trafficker on my street. It's getting old having to live with this crap!

Anonymous said...

To the neighbor with a trafficker: Are we supposed to be psychics? Drop a dime on them annonymously and we'll do our thing. Worse thing you can do is .............nothing.

Anonymous said...

To 8:04, thanks, I appreciate the advice. But you guys already know about him.

Anonymous said...

At 8:04am, its so easy to drop a dime on our neighbor and DCPD will investigate and arrest but when someone drop a dime on downtown decatur nothing is done. I guess all dimes are not the same

Anonymous said...

How can a resident find out how understaffed our precinct is? Also how can we find out response times? Our residents support the DKPD, but we are trying to stop another liquor store from coming into an area already riddled with prostitution and drugs.

Anonymous said...

Not sure of the mechanics of finding out about staffing and response time but a Freedom of Information Act Request may be able to provide it... possibly at a cost though...

As a veteran officer, I can say that the response times are more than likely high and that it is under staffed..... and that they'll give you a line of crap about academies graduating... rookies take a year or two to become effective.

Anonymous said...

You're going to have to file an open records request. Ask for watch lists for your precinct for the last few months. You're going to want day watch, evening watch, and morning watch plus any net teams your precinct has. Then you'll see how few officers are patrolling the streets of DeKalb because the commissioners don't take public safety seriously.

Anonymous said...

Is Dekalb Public Safety the poorest, most pitifully run and equipped in the country now? http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/neighbor-says-firemen-are-living-deplorable-condit/ngKrH/

How long have those new cars been gathering dust by the pumps at the old HQ?....

If they were truly planning on getting units out in order to stem the out flow of DeKalb officers and supervisors, they would already have them painted and at Motorola.... they've been sitting for over a month!

How many have resigned while the cars rot out in the elements?

Anonymous said...

Promotions....another retention tool not being used...

When was the last time an MPO was promoted to sergeant and why are sergeant slots being left unfilled?

Anonymous said...

Heads Up- Make sure you have approved extra job request if receiving any ad revenue from this blog.

Anonymous said...

What's up with the Watchdog Corruption Unit? I heard there was a petition for residents and employees to sign to get these Lo Down Dirty Corrupt Employees. When will they start watching? We ready to see Dekalb employees finally get whats coming to them.

Anonymous said...

Is it true that the department ordered center consoles for the new patrol cars without taking into account that the gear shift was moved in the new model year cars?

What a joke!

Efficiency and stupidity at its best... the county is screwed.

Anonymous said...

Wonder if the consultants have made any progress on the salary survey or been able to figure out why people are leaving in mass number!

Tough nut to crack but I'm sure they'll figure it out and..... the BOC will ignore their findings.

Anonymous said...

To anonymous at 10:14. You are correct, there are currently 13 Sgt slots open that most likely won't be filled before the next test. With the county accepting bids to prepare the test, the current list will expire even though there won't be a new test ready. This info came straight from "Chief" Conroy when he visited center precinct roll call on 6/20/2014. Anyone on the list right now should think about contacting an attorney to see what can be done about this. We have had to run an OIC several times recently at Center.

In reference to the cars sitting, yes, they are waiting on consoles. The cars can still be sent for decals and such to expedite things but as usual, heads are stuck too far up asses around here.

I am all for promoting a few more sergeants. We can use them. But we need another lieutenant or captain like we need a few more pending 911 calls. Just because there is an opening does not mean it is needed. Reallocate the money for more sergeants and officers.

Can we just get the DeKalb units back that continue to work in the northern incorporated cities. This will help our man power, someone advise them that we no longer serve Brookhaven and southern Chamblee. The same units continue to spend half their days in these parts endlessly riding around. Maybe just checking on their part times in Brookhaven.

Gold Badge said...

Anonymous JUNE 26, 2014 AT 5:23 PM...... sounds like you need to be talking to the offending officer(s) or a supervisor about units being out of their territory (in Brookhaven etc....)

Example if you're a little hesitant to go to your sgt... "Sarge, not sure if you have been up in the Brookhaven or southern Chamblee areas but, I'm hearing there are Dekalb units on our watch that are up there while I'm humping calls in their territory..."

Or.... Sarge, 221 is spending time up in Brookhaven while I'm down here humping his/her calls.

Or..... 221, I'm tired of handling your calls... quit patrolling Brookhaven and Chamblee...if this continues, I'm gonna elevate this to the sgt or lt.

GROW A SET!

Anonymous said...

With the call volume I don't see how a unit could be in Brookhaven or Chamblee. I go 10-8 and bang there is the next one on my screen. Please tell me how you get this free time?

Anonymous said...

Every watch of every precinct has calls pending for almost the entire shift. Officers are rushing from call to call. There's no way officers are just hanging out in Brookhaven or Chamblee. I know of SWAT and TAC officers that were complained on for being outside of their jurisdictions because they dared to stop for a bite to eat at McDonald's on their way home from work. The problem isn't officers being outside of their jurisdiction, it's nosy busy bodies jumping to conclusions and constantly looking for something to complain about when it comes to law enforcement.

Anonymous said...

These would have to be specialty units to have that much free time!

Anonymous said...

Hopefully they are not going home in the middle of their shift if that is your defense. Let it go we lost these areas.

Anonymous said...

To 3:18 pm their specialty is making free time!
