Commissioner Boyer Resigns

What about Sharon Barnes? No double standard here, surely.

Now that all of the Democrats on the DeKalb County Commission have got their way to get rid of the sole Republican, Gov. Deal will now appoint another republican to fill her shoes.

Unfortunately, that person will be in the same boat as Boyer with no power whatsoever.

So in essence, the commission will be the same.

Now........What would be a real surprise is the Feds going after SBS for the same bullshit and more that Boyer did. Because SBS is a Democrat, the chances of the Feds starting something against SBS is probably remote.

All in all, it was a good story for the AJC and the dreams of the taxpayers of this fucked up county as nothing will change for the better.

Come on cities...."lets get crackin"

About time that this long time self serving piece of shit thief does the "Perp Walk".

One Down and only six more crooked commissioners to go = Could US District Attorney Sally Q. Yates now be on a roll?

Hopefully Ms Yates will also look into this crook over at Business Licensing and all these phoney corporations that these crooks are using in DeKalb County with little to no oversight by The DeKalb Licensing Dept where it's "hey you got money let's talk".

And to her assistant Big Bob, FU.

@August 26, 2014 at 3:01 PM--really she's the grandmother of all the cities and why do you think she wants more of them, it wasn't for puritanican purposes--fleecing the tax payers is alot easier on that level...

I can think of 2 people who would have posted at 5:20 - and to both of you, I would say, as a constituent, I have supported and been grateful for the responsiveness and many good things accomplished by Elaine and her Chief of Staff. I am disappointed by Elaine's actions for sure, but that is now out of our hands. Move on and let it happen.

AB, if that's you - watch your mouth bitch - you never know what will come back to haunt you. I'm just sayin'.

Anonymous said...

And if it's you, ML, FU too.

She's not alone in the fraud scheme. Boyer, it's time to roll on your co-workers. Tell everything you know and your legacy will be, how you bought justice to a corrupt County Govt.

Anonymous said...

Andrew Baker of Planning are you nervous?

Anonymous said...

She is rolling over to save prison time. Hope the depth of her info leads to Vermin and all of his shynanigance while he was playing God.

Where's the investigation on Sutton? Time to get rid of the trash (and all of it).

Anonymous said...

You know that the guy that was supposed to receive the payments for consulting from Boyer was Sharon Barnes Sutton's boyfriend at the time. Wonder who gave Boyer the idea?????

Anonymous said...

5:24pm, nope. Boyer was paying a preacher to do nothing and he was giving the money back to her. Sutton was paying her own boyfriend to be a consultant, but he did no consulting. He may have earned the money in other ways, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

It's time for either the state or federal government to step into DeKalb County and CLEAN HOUSE of everyone, similar to what was done to the school board a few years ago. This will not stop until the BOC and CEO are stripped clean of their duties and sent on their merry way. It has to stop now or there will not be any DeKalb County left for anyone. Suspend the entire Board, put a new Board in, then once the new Board is in, strip all of the Department Heads of their duties and replace them also....yes CED, that's you also. It's time people.....

Anonymous said...

I heard Sally Yates be reading this blog. If that's true, she has a lot of people to investigate starting with Business license and zoning.

Anonymous said...

No more tickets until we get a 10% across the board raise.

Anonymous said...

Another example of a democratic run government destroying what ever they have control of.
It is a shame how DeKalb County, before vermin was ceo, was one of the best counties in the state and always on top in the ratings in the country in law enforcement.

Anonymous said...

Snitch Boyer! Snitch Boyer! Snitch Boyer! You don't want to go to the Pen by yourself. Give up the names because they would do the same to you.

Anonymous said...

What needs to be done is an audit of DeKalb County owned tangible property like was done by the City of Atlanta. I promise you the $$$ figure would make Atlanta's Watershed thefts look like peanuts. Things have been missing and swept under the rug like laptops, (ironcally one from Vernon Jones himself), truck tires, police blue light bars, furniture, pool chlorine, tools, ........ the list is endless. This can of worms would open tax payers eyes as did the thieving commissioners crd scandal.

I am all for bringing down Sutton but will the Feds actually house her at seaworld with Shamu, it's going to take a large zip code to hold that Buffarilla::::

@Anon August 28, 2014 at 9:28 PM

I seem to recall a democratically run government that saw surpluses and no foreign open ended conflicts up until around 2000 before "dubya" and his crew took office. If you wanna complain that the politicians in office are shitty, need to be removed, and probably shouldn't have been elected. Fine, I agree with you. But don't try to paint an entire political party as inept based on individual politicians actions. First off its petty and if you're a grown man/woman I'd expect you to grow up and stop being simple. The argument can be turned around extremely quickly to say that republicans wouldn't do much better given the flawed political system that only exists in DEKALB.

Saying one political party is better or worse than another based on the actions of a few is just as ignorant and illogical as saying one race or religion Is better or worse than another for the same reason. Contribute an opinion of relative value or just be quiet and follow along. You're exactly like the idiots that have a bad experience with a cop and decide that all cops must be awful. Stop being such a dense spreader of ignorance please. The difference between political parties is the stance on different issues and interpretation of the law/constitution. Not whether one is more stupid or corrupt than another. Grow up.

@ August 27 7:30am

Not only Andrew baker need to be nervous but all the employees who took a bribe. So Boyer give em all up.

The DeKalb DA is just as clueless as the DeKalb Bunch of Crooks. He is like a person who we all know, constantly on the screen with two minute lack of sense speeches, who plays golf more than anything, has no idea of what is going on in the world, etc.

I wonder as a taxpayer what is on his agenda regarding the Burrell Ellis case as it has gone nowhere since his arrest.

The DA in inexperienced, doesn't have the savy to do, say or go forward about anything.

Whats next Mr DA ?

Anonymous said...

The take down of business license, permits, and zoning is coming.

To Aug. 31 at 7:53am

I have said it once and I will say it again. If you know so freaking much inside info. on corruption in your supposed department then go speak to investigators yourself or shut the hell up. I can assure you that the FBI is not going to look into bribes at the development department. Maybe you should take your inside knowledge to the media and be a whistle blower. You keep throwing out your director's name and no facts or evidence at all. If it bothers you so much then speak out and end it.

Anonymous said...

Ms.Yates,& MR.FBI did Boyer say how the DA, LEE MAY.SBS, & OTHERS SET UP Burrell Ellis? If not she's not telling you everything.

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:55 AM

Don't post some stupid coded message and expect anyone to understand what you are talking about. Your post is garbage. You may as well have written it in Chinese shorthand!

Are you saying that Ellis was set up and therefore innocent of the charges he is facing? YES or NO ????

Anonymous said...

Sept 5, 12:10

How do you know Baker is the director? Either, your Baker or his co-pilot. Boyer will expose the others who got their palms greased.

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:55 am

"Set up Burrell Ellis??"

Lmfao!!! That's freaking get hilarious!!!

Ellis is toast! You don't put that much effort into suppressing evidence unless it shows you did something wrong. If the secret recordings weren't incriminating, Ellis's attorneys wouldn't have fought so hard to keep them put of court. Set him up? Are you kidding me? Sure, the DA slipped him a mind control drug that made him shake down vendors for campaign contributions.

Please tell me you don't vote or drive or for anything that requires the slightest bit of intelligence.

Who we need is Jimmy Faust. Jimmy, where are you? We need you now more than Michael Knight needs K.I.T.T.

Anonymous said...

I agree with... September 6, 2014 at 12:55 AM
I'm no fan of Burrell Ellis and I'm sure he is guilty of what he did, but I do believe that he had contributors that helped bring to light his wrong doings for their own self ulterior motives...ie. Rise to Power...Lee May, Morris Williams & the D.A. What they didn't count on was the downfall of the commissioners...which include...Lee May & Morris Williams because they both were once overseers of the Commission! Hmmm...Sounds like someone turned the tables once again....

Anonymous said...

I agree with: September 6, 2014 at 12:55 AM

I believe Ellis was set up by Lee May, the D.A. and Morris Williams for an exchange of POWER!

However, I do not believe May and Williams anticipated the downfall of the current commissioners. Additionally, at the time of the crimes, both Lee and Williams led the B.O.C. so they were a part of the excess fraudulent spending ALSO!

Anonymous said...

Ellis was not set-up! Ellis was greedy!

Who wants to serve on the Ellis jury? Please have compassion for Erkle. Hahaha

Anonymous said...

The people who think Ellis was set up are his family, extremely stupid, or both. Please explain to us how he was set up by the DA? It's all over the news that they have recorded calls and conversations where Ellis was demanding campaign contributions. Was the DA there holding a gun to Ellis's head making shake down vendors? Use your heads!

LoFlyer said...

The really stupid thing about this stuff is it was so unnecessary, Ellis was running virtually unopposed with no viable opponents.
He could of run a successful election campaign on 150 grand, instead he opted for the big bucks.
With Boyer cooperating with prosecutors we can only imagine the eventual fallout of her revelations.
Hang on to your hats boys and girls! This is going to be wild!

Hey, heres a question.

What happens to that ashford dunwoody precinct that was closed down.

I just Looooove the fact that the words "dekalb" are missing letters.

I have ALWAYS said it should be spelled with out that pesky letter "D"

EKALB is just sooo much better.

When will we hear from Boyer AKA fat tail?

Anonymous said...

Is anyone, anyone at all on the pension board giving any thought as to how and when we will be making the County pay back the money they owe. You know the millions from the early out program..Or are we just gonna let them pay us back when they get good and ready too? Hmmmm how bout it newly elected board member?

Anonymous said...

I don't think Ellis is Grade A greedy.

nahhh.

not at all.

It's your new guys in charge that are the source of even more problems.

Dekalb county would make sense of only Ellis would come back.

Anonymous said...

It doesn't make a bit of difference as to who set up who for anything. The simple matter of fact is that the county is full of corrupt individuals who run for public office only to make friends with lots of power and who can help those who run for office get richer.

There are many Burrell Ellises out there in Dekalbcrookedvilleland whose intention is to screw the taxpaying public, to line their own pockets, to keep on getting re-elected, and hope and pray that they never get caught.

The county is full of Sharon Barnes Suttons, Burrell Ellises, Stan Watsons, just to name a few.

Going back to the original form of government (no CEO)is no quick fix, just another way of cheating and screwing the public. I would say, "let the Feds take over, but that would make matters extremely worse".

At its best, all we (honest taxpayers and voters) can hope for is vast improvement, whatever that is.

From today's news, looks like Urkel is TOAST. Documents unsealed today clearly point to his culpability on the day before his trial: http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local-govt-politics/documents-revealed-on-eve-of-dekalb-ceo-ellis-tria/nhM4J/

Its time to move on to another subject. We all have seen, heard, discussed, listened, and formed opinions on Elaine Boyer.

Now its time for the judicial system to voice their opinion.

Anonymous said...

Ellis is Toast!

The Lil Man Ellis was one tough cookie. He's 5'5 about 142lbs and mean as a snake.

Anonymous said...

What right does anyone have to condemn anyone in this county?

Ellis has just been abused/ravaged over night with basically no foreknowledge of what just slapped him in the face.

What good is this possibly going to do the patterns will just get worse!

unless you plan on voting in Shiny Rose carrying Unicorns!

it might just be better to accept dekalb county/crookedville for what it is.

the new dekalb is more frighting than the dekalb i was born and grew up in.

Just has to do with the recent times, has nothing to do with who gets sued.

Separations and non Christian attitudes only cause further separations and strife!

It's a shame people didn't pay closer attention to us when we presented all of that Boyer information to the Ethics Commission in 2008.

Prison stripes look good on no one. Good luck ELAINE!
