City of Brookhaven Take Lessons From the Mob
The City of Brookhaven take lessons from the Mob when it comes to doing business with strip clubs and other businesses.
After a long running legal battle for the Pink Pony to stay open, they have submitted to be shaken down by the city.
The Pink Pony will pay the city $225,000 per year for six years to stay open. This is in addition to property and sales tax.
So, if you want to run a business in Brookhaven, you probably are going to have to pay the man.

Pay to Play.....
Brookhaven learned from the best mob in the area .......... DeKalb County.
Extortion.
Move to the City of Briarcliff when they incorporate, simple!
Deja vu all over again
Dekalb BOC
The cities are just like the county , they need to make money anyway they can. In time the cities will have the same problem of elected officials for the greed of title.
Do you think these elected officials are above reproach?
The idiots who think that forming cities are are the solution to solving problems in this county need to step back and look at the big picture.
Reid has to get sign-off from Andrew Baker. Money Money Money
As a token of his appreciation lit'l larry will put a lap dance on his county issued p-card for every sucker that voted for him.
Perhaps sharon can start a new career poll dancin at the pony if it's still open when she gets out of the shtcan.
Just heard on the radio!... the Pink Piny is thanking its employees, the citizens, the politicians etc... by throwing a "Settlement Party".... free drinks from 7-9!.... I'm going.
So the righteous leaders of Brookhaven spent a million dollars in legal fees to get $225.000 in return and the same result. Wow you needed to break away from DeKalb County to get returns like that? DeKalb just took their money and left them alone. Go Pink Pony Go!!!
Wonder how big a stack of 225,000 one dollar bills is!
Probably how they could afford to give the $2000 Christmas bonus checks to each of its employees...
