Alexander's Wish May Just Come True

Since the days of the justified killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson Missouri, Chief Cedric has hoped something of that magnitude would happen on his watch in DeKalb County.

He is fueling the fire of the protest of the shooting of Kevin Davis, who was armed and refused to surrender his weapon. Make bad decisions, bad things happen.

Cedric has called in the G.B.I. for an independent investigation. He is showing he has no confidence in the credibility's his own detectives.

Now he is releasing information to the press. Cedric, if you are going to have an independent investigation, then keep your freaking mouth shut!

Cedric doesn't need to be siding with the perpetrator's family before the investigation is complete. There can be only two reasons he would do such a foolish thing; incompetence and hoping the protest will explode to the levels of Ferguson so Cedric can feed his narcissism.

We pray the officer made a just decision, because Cedric does not have his back.

Read the AJC article here.

Alexander isn't fueling anything. I think the blog administrator has it wrong. Yes, Alexander agreed to have the GBI look at the case, big deal, if the officer was justified, there is nothing to worry about. The GBI is not headhunting, calm down.

We have never previously called anyone in to look at our shooting incidents. They have always been handled fairly, impartially and with high competence between Homicide and IA. Whats the problem here? Very strange.

Cmon blogmaster. I am no fan of Cerdric, but he did not side with the family in this article. Nor has he released any information that would compromise the investigation. He hasn't said anything that could be seen as "not having the officers back". Please be fair and report facts, not a wrong opinion.

Cedric said Friday that he may consider the protesters wishes and ask the GBI to look at the case after Dekalb was finished with their investigation. By Monday the GBI had the case and Dekalb is not finished with their investigation. Cedric lied. He does that a lot.

The good doctor is a politician who is puddle jumping from one gig to the next bigger gig. He'll do what's in his best interest and what will advance his making the next move.

"...said Alexander, a nationally recognized expert on policing."

Really?

How is the Doctor a mantis ally recognized expert on policing when he has never really policed. He is not even a certified police officer now. He walks around and refers to himself as a GOD and we are all suppose to bow down to him. Strap on a gun belt and hump calls with me all night and miss time with his family and tell your kids sorry but I can't buy you what you want for your birthday because I have not had a merit raise in 7 years. Because the county keeps hiring idiots to run our county and police department. gOD alexander and the rest of his kiss ass staff and the commissioners are all crooks and cowards.

Unfortunately the AJC will print anything without verifying the facts. An expert on policing? According to who? Cedric is not even a police officer, and he damn sure is not a police expert. Does the AJC even realize that before coming to Dekalb County, Cedric was a glorified baggage handler in Dallas?

Dr. Alexander, can you tell us when you last held a POST certification of any kind as a law enforcement officer? I guess a question like that is just too complex for most ATL journalist.

But it was likely just a misprint by the AJC. What they meant to say was ".....said Alexander, a nationally recognized expert at talking out of his ass."

I was working that night when this happened, all you have to do is listen to the 911 call.
It will tell you everything you need to know about why the officer fired, any officer working that night would have done the same.
It was a raw deal for any officer responding, the call speaks for itself.
