This blog page was established so DeKalb County Police Officers including their family and friends may have a place to hold discussions, post news and vent without fear of retribution.
$1000.00 fine!? So the citizens of DeKalb County do not deserve their money back for the 2+ years Inmate Ellis was on paid administrative leave? Ellis received four times the salary that I did during these 2+ years for doing nothing. That's the real crime here. On top of that, I'm guessing he will be collecting a rather nice pension with the 2+ years going toward his employment time served. Makes me sick.
Why is this a surprise to anyone ? There is the political class and then everyone else and they are on a different set of standards from the rest of us peons. The political class now is so out of control with corruption and incompetence that it is causing so much damage that might become un-repairable. Remember that large and powerful empire known as the Roman Empire ? Well it fell from inside, not outside forces....Stay tuned and stay safe
Wow,and Thomas E. Brown is still milking the county out of billions. He holds the jail medical contract and is being paid as a consultant to Sheriff Jeff Mann. Now that's untouchable.
Ellis was walking around the jail in PJ's and work-out gear, what the heck is going on? Will all the corrupt Dekalb County employees get special treatment when the hammer falls on them? Let's start ZONING and ZONING please don't cry Grandfathered in
What SOD unit is assigned to sit 24hr. watch outside his cell? Remember those days!!! Couldn't even go to take a leak without that little ahole calling the brass to bitch that his taxpayer funded protection had left the premise.

Burrell still got a little good left in his pinky toe. In prison food, nothing but MSG and spit, I hope Burrell prepares his own food
Georgia law doesn’t require DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis to repay the salary he received since Gov. Nathan Deal suspended him in July 2013.
Ellis was paid his $157,000 a year salary until he was convicted July 1 of one count of attempted extortion and three counts of perjury.
DeKalb County didn’t pay Ellis’ legal fees.
Ellis will remain suspended without pay now that he’s been found guilty, according to state law.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 3½ years probation on July 8.

How come Burrell did not roll on anyone? Or maybe he did and DA office is waiting for perfect timing.
If Burrell had the Sheriff Dept wrapped around his fing while in Dk jail, who's manning this blog? Is it Burrell homies?
