Dekalb Police Command staff causing morale problems and overworking officers.
Dekalb officers are working long hours and having to to work on off days to fill voids in the department. They are being made to work food distribution centers and COVID testing sites. Officers and detectives are being pulled from regular assignments to work these details.

I am so tired of working these food distribution sites, this should be a voluntary overtime detail, instead of forcing us to work on off days

These food distribution sites are just a political free food giveaway for the commissioners

AMEN!!!!!!!! We can’t do police work because we tied up work these sites and distributions.

At the time I didn't realize it but in the end after I quit and being gone for a while now it wasn't all that hard to replace that lousy check they gave me for putting up with their BS.

Quit......

it was really an awful, thank less job. Quit....and dont look back.

So in addition to the county giving free food to residence, these same people are collecting food stamps.....why is this happening? Aren't the taxpayers already being taxed enough....Socialism at its finest.....this is just the beginning.

Maybe Trump can bring in feds to enforce current laws on books for Dekalb/Atlanta. After all, it's obvious the most basic of traffic laws aren't even enforced there given all the ATVs and dirt bikes running red lights and traffic off the road constantly. If you don't sweat the small stuff guys then the big crimes always follow. Sometimes you have to do what's right rather than what you're told for everyone's sake. Just common sense.
