Where is our investigation?

Governor Purdue opened an investigation into Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill. It appears Sheriff Hill is in the habit of not showing up for work. This investigation should be complete within 30 days. If the investigation holds true, Sheriff Hill could be suspended from office.

Maybe the Governor can investigate why Vernon allows Bolton to rarely show up for work. Maybe we could kill 2 birds with one stone, Vernon out early and TeBo gone for good!

Bolton was here long enough on a Friday not to send any recruits to North Precinct from the last academy. The police to resident ratio in North Precinct is now 1 police officer to every 2054 residents!

Outstanding Crime Fighting Plan TeBo!!

He was here long enough to promote another of Vernon's drivers from Lieutenant to Major.

He was here long enough to authorize more new cars for the executive command staff while REAL police officers are waiting 2 hours for a car after roll call.

Folks, this 1000 plus officer police department is being run by a handful of DKPD lieutenants, APD lieutenants, a TV News producer and a Dallas, Texas Sergeant.

Outstanding post. I couldn't have said it better!

How many cars are now assigned to the executive command staff?

I'd love to see a roll call of command staff employees that have take home cars and their job title/description.

I know that you guy's are telling the truth on these things but I have a funny feeling that you are preaching only to the choir. Why are not at least some of the things you talk about not picked up by the news media? Maybe you should try another approach to actually get your complaints out to the public that you serve. I have no ideas on that right now but put your heads together and come up with something. Can't the FOP help out and get some coverage?

Good question. Where is the media?

Answer....they're scared of Bolton and Vernon. They're worried that they won't be included on other stuff if they're critical of the powers that be.

I heard one story was killed because they, the reporters, were threatened with the state charge of stalking if they ran with it.

Officers are scared to talk publicly because they can be disciplined or fired for being critical. Forget that they'd be telling the truth. The truth is not a defense.

Yes, we're probably preaching to the choir.

At least it's therapeutic. It's not good to hold in one's frustration, anger or disappointment. You need to vent every now and then. Let it all out.

Holding it in will eventually lead to a heart attack. In fact, the county should be funding this web page.

Think of how much money it has save them in sick time and lost manpower. Think of how many heart attacks have been avoided!
