Where is the Dennis Stepnowski Memorial Park???

That's a good question to be raised. He was in a running gun battle with a murder suspect.He was with the department for a number of years. I guess I will keep my reason why some type of honoring him by the county did not take place.

The sacrifice that all three officers gave was the same. The fact is that just like the promotions, assignments to specialized positions, and any other action with this Department; You either have to be politically connected or a minority to be properly recongized.

We miss all of them, and I hope they rest in peace. I don't think that any of them would have wanted their names to be memorialized in this hell hole of a county, though. I think the best way to remember all of them is to think of them often and talk about the good they did for this place that unfortunately took them from us.

Don't make this about any other color but blue. All three men should be honored. All three are gone but not forgotten.

Yes, it is all about the color Blue! They should all be honored.

It's too bad Vernon and his crew brought up the darker administration thing. That kinda talk just breeds dissention and contempt.
