District 1 NET Team is up and running

Once again Tebo has taken more officers away from the streets answering 911 calls to staff yet another specialized unit. The drainage (no, not the liquid coming from Tebo’s ears) of uniform continues.

Let’s see, 5 ICP units, 5 precinct NET teams, and now a District 1 & 2 NET team. With all these specialized units, why is crime through the roof?

Is the odor of take home cars for the newly formed district NET Teams in the air? Stay tuned.

The Madness Continues

I think its already happen. They going to have the old Majors and above police units. They need to have miles put on them so they can turn them in for new ones.

Well at North , we cannot even get a shift out without doubling up officers. I guess these special teams that these chief's come up with to solve our high crime rate deserve take home cars. I wish I had a car to drive out of DeKalb and back every day.

not all precincts have NET teams. East and South havent had a net team in a while... at least since they changed the boundaries last time. so I can see having a combined District 2 net team since neither precinct has a net team at all.... but... Doesnt Tucker/Center/North already have seperate net teams?? from what I hear from the dist 2 net teams is a zero tolerance put people in jail team, and tickets arent being issued for a change.

Bolton should change the ridiculous slogan of “New Start, New Beginning” to “Solving Crime, 2 Tickets at a Time”.

Okay this new net team that was created yet these are new positions within the department. where is the position posting for this. Isn't this a violation of dekalb county policy. Positions should be open yet they are hand picked not even posted giving a chance for officers to apply.

They go down a watch list trying to find someone to accept these new positions. When you ask them the hours and days working and details for this new assignment. The response is we are still putting it together. Got to love this place.
