There is no reason why Bolton should not be arrested the day after he loses his merit hearing.

How many times do we as officers do more than in required whether it be staying late to finish FTO paperwork or spend time talking with a rookie on the watch who is having trouble with something. I have been to two funerals for officers in my time here, both on off days and it never even crossed my mind "I better document this so I get compensation for my time" It blows me away how little integrity or devotion to police work this guy has. Hundreds of other officers from around the country came here for "his sons" (I remember him saying it on the news and almost puked) and he turns in comp time because it was over 40 hours for the week. You would think that after twenty years in police work you would have at least a little dedication. Unbelievable.
You can live an entire lifetime and not meet a more despicable human being than Terrell Bolton. He actually charged DeKalb County for hours worked in the days after two of our fellow officers were murdered. And he was not even in the state of Georgia! One of Vernon Jones’ shining star appointees!
What does this say about the Majors and Chiefs who kissed Bolton’s ass for so long? While I do not believe in guilt by association, I do believe in guilt by long term ass kissing. Of course there were a couple of Captains, Lieutenants and Sergeants who did the same thing but gratefully most of them did not.
Bolton had the nerve to say he would have taken the bullets Barker and Bryant at their funeral. Take a bullet for them?? He couldn't even attend memorials for them on his OWN time! He couldn't even give them 2 hours of his own time! He billed the county for it! How greedy and despicable can you get?
The county must owe me zillions of hours or either comp time or $ for working un paid overtime for work in the Major Felony Robbery Homicide unit for years. I was secondary on call as a supervisor in that unit for years, no OT pay no comp time. I didn't get it and I didn't expect it. My job and career and the unit meant more to me.
To see TeBO do a perp walk may be more than my heart can stand but I will gladly take the risk for such a glorious event. I retired after 30+ years and worked through Hand,Burgess and Moody and none were without their lapses but all look like angels compared to Terrell Bolton. Vern's running off Chief Moody for refusing to lie about the extravagant and egomaniacal secret service wannabe bodyguards is beyond belief. PERP walk, PERP walk, PERP Walk, I clicked my heels three times maybe the fairy tale will come true.
I believe in guilt by behavior rather than association. I honestly doubt Bolton will have the audacity to show up for any appeals; if he does, he ought to leave in shackles while he awaits trial. And while I think there should be a full-scale investigation on the rest of his band of merry men (and women), I do NOT think it should drag on for months/years and cost the taxpayers of DeKalb more time than what's already been invested. CLEAN HOUSE and start over with a clean slate. You've got the man who can lead in office now (O'Brien) - so start there and work your way down.
And the fact that he got all "5"s on his evaluation as well as the BS notes on his Comp Time ("performing the duties...")just shows how absolutely morally corrupt Bolton, Vernon and their court jesters really were. I can only imagine the sheer hell I would go through had I written such a ludicrous statement on a legal document as performing the duties of the job (no SH*T Sherlock - you're SUPPOSED to perform the duties of the job!).
Looking at this a different way, Bolton actually documented with great detail how inept he was at his job. Not only did he take comp time inappropriately, he THOROUGHLY documented it. The fact that Kimbrough stopped signing off on the sheets "seemingly" shows Bolton lacked County support with his excessive comp time, but he kept on taking it. AND documenting it.
Our high-priced, Ex Big City Police Chief seemed to think he was above the law.
Want to bet Vernon Jones is brought in as a hostile witness for Bolton? Vernon doesn't want any part of this mess anymore, because he still thinks he has a future in politics and he knows Bolton's BS stinks.
This whole thing is starting to resemble a bad Batman Movie with the Joker and Two-Face.
How does one aquire an 50 cal sniper rifle?
It's time to oust Gwen Keyes Fleming, those time sheets show a blatant abuse of time that he was paid for making it a crime. Had it been an officer she would have worked overtime herself to prosecute them. She is a piss poor excuse for a human much less an elected official.
Do we call this a crime? Well someone needs to prosecute this THEFT. The citizens paid his salary in taxes.
I guess its too much to expect someone recoup the taxpayers loss.
Gwen Keyes may not win next time around, look at Clayton County they finally woke up and put a real D.A. in office.
