I like Lee May's comments that its just because of the times that people throw away their morals and values and that's why they stole the money. Not because they are F*&CKING PERPS...

Fraud suspects eh? What about the polititians who have been stealing money for years, and recorders court. OHHH YEAAAAHH and lets not forget about Tebo!!!! He stole about as much as these 9 fraud suspects by himself!

All I can say is that Vernon left us a big problem. I hope and do believe that the current CEO will solve our problems.

Well, the solution is clear: WRITE MORE TICKETS!!!!! WE MUST WRITE MORE TICKETS!!! We have to make up for all this lost/stolen revenue somehow.

Never mind that 42 and 44 perps are running amok all over the county while we're chasing down folks who roll through a stop sign on a side street...those tickets ain't gonna write themselves.

My writing hand is starting to cramp and my pen is nearly out of ink...

"I'm not surprised, people are hurting right now and unfortunately people are throwing away their morals and values just to get that dollar," said DeKalb County Commissioner Lee May.....SERIOUSLY????? That's what you wanna call it?? Hey Lee, how bout calling it what it is. These THUGS didn't throw away their morals. I bet if you run their criminal history you will see that their chosen profession is stealing other folk's money. You are part of the problem. YOu and this liberal freakin attitude that has invaded our country. "Oh poor dirt bag. He had a bad life. Times are hard. So he has to steal or sell dope to make a dollar. Poor poor kid. His momma left him so now he has an excuse 4 blasting a man in the face with a shotgun, right in front of his children and wife just because he won't turn his lights off while you're selling dope. But you're a good boy now. You were just young and neglected. You didn't know that murder was frowned upon." SERIOUSLY????????????? Stop making excuses for thugism!!!!

I'm tired of people blaming the economy for crimes like this, or the burglaries at the high end jeans stores, etc... etc... These perps didn't have jobs before the recession! They aren't trying to make up for lost wages!

Well I just hope that when the ones that are caught go to court they don't go before Judge Becker! Let's do something about the criminals, not let them go so they can commit worse crimes!

Bull crap ! Lee May. Those thugs would have stolen our money no matter the strength of the economy. Good job to the finance dept for keeping tabs and doing a great job on this !

Lee May's comment was rather stupid, but not as stupid and offensive as when Bolton started making excuses for the perp who killed Barker and Bryant a day after they were shot. "This is the result of growing up in poverty and lack of insurance..." blah blah blah.

Lee May was the "youngest person to own a theater", youngest deason at New Birth" blah blah. Theatre failed and May voted not to roll back last pour times with Vernon Jones. Everytime I have seen him open his mouth wether in a commission meeting or otherwise all that comes out of his mouth is this kind of garbage. The man is a joke. People don't steal because they don't have money. They steal because they have no respect for others, no sense of honor and no sense of shame. They were never taught to work hard and live honorable lives by thier parents. So they steal. It is a character problem, not an economic problem. As a public leader Lee May should be the first to call for personal accountability for peoples actions. Jails are full of people claiming it is everyone else's fault but thier own.

Lee May , you probably have some secrets that you don't want exposed. You need to remember that these times do not create criminals. Criminals would steal even if the economy was good.
