Follow Up On Commissioner Johnson

We have learned there is an active investigation into Larry Johnson. The Fulton County Manager's Office and the Fulton County D.A. are looking into it with no time line for it's completion.

Because it is an active investigation, we cannot go into any great details. As soon as we can, rest assure, we will.

This is more than we can say about our fine District Attorney Gwen Fleming. There is still no word whether she is investigation Terrell Bolton for theft or looking into the Larry Johnson matter. We doubt she ever will.

Ya'll know my views on Gwyn and can only agree with the blog creator that Gwyn is the problem instead of the solution. I hope a competent DA candidate takes note of Gwyn's many lapses on behalf of Vern and uses it turn Gwyn into "cannon fodder" in the next election. On a positive note my boss has been in close contact with CEO Ellis on some "issues" and reports that Ellis is determined to reverse the damage that good 'ole Vern did to the county. Rock on Ellis!

9/11 took only a few hours, but it took months to clean up.

Vernon was allowed to reek havoc for EIGHT YEARS! I have nothing but confidence in Ellis, but cleaning up Vernon's mess in only 4 or 8 years is a lot to ask of anyone!

I don't understand how people who BLATANTLY violated state and federal law are not yet indicted, and some even still work for the county!

Sometimes I get the sense that CEO Ellis must have days where he has heard enough crap and had to deal with such massive incompetence that he can only hit is head against the desk over and over.

Yes the clean up will take time, but man-o-man is it good to see.

Ellis, get yourself a soft desk pad.

You have to love Commissioner Johnson concerns , as always do we have minority participation in everything Dekalb does. Who is the minority he is talking about?
