Bolton's Upcoming Hearing

We have been told Bolton's merit hearing will be open to the public and it will be held at the Maloof Building, June 10, 2009. The time has yet to be set, but as soon as we know, you will know.

We don't know if any special accommodations will be made for extra seating. If not, seating will be very limited. We suggest you contact the Merit System at 404-371-2332 and tell them you plan to attend. We are sure if a number of people call, the county will make arrangements for seating.

AS AN ADDED BONUS: FOX 5 Investigative Reporter Dale Russell will be "Twitting" live throughout the hearing.

Stay tuned for updates

I would like to see a strong representation from DKPD holding up anti-Bolton signs.

How about a web link... has the county considered broadcasting it over the web?

The stock market has gone gangbusters since March. How about a cost of living raise for retirees this time? The pension should be in pretty good shape if out money managers are at the top of their game.

Called the number today and was told "I'm not able to get you any information on that." When asked if the hearing was public "I don't know". When asked who could provide the info, I was told "I don't know. I was trying to find out but I don't know."

County government at its finest.

So how long does it take before we get a result from the "judge/judges" in this hearing?

I think you guy's should give Chief Bolton his due and listen with an open mind to what he has to say. Give him his day in court.

I don't need to listen to anything Bolton says. He's a liar who broke the law and he knows it. People told him he was violating the law and he ignored them or told them "I'm the Chief!"
