Hmm....interesting 1st move. Maybe there IS hope for this thing.

Did someone needed a new driver?

What's his title and what's his new job?

Is he still a Deputy Chief or has he been given the notification that NOW is a good time to retire?

He cannot and will not retire, unless he is forced out. Vernon and Bolton still need a spy.

He's barely got 20 years...he knows Tip Green so well, maybe he can go work out the last few as an MPO in the motor pool.

Don Frank is a truly miserable human being, and a stain on the department. No single person has benefitted more from being one of Vernon's drivers/bodyguards.

Poor old Don was not a bad guy. Yes he needs to be fired. He just fell into the lust of Vernon Jones. He probably made lots of money, and he probably lost it all. If he goes to prison, I will write to him.

Here we go again with you "fellow police officers" bashing one of your own. You guys continue to lose respect each and every day. What's the problem...are ya angry that no one has seen anything in any of YOU to promote your sorry butts? ha ha ha....pathetic group of crybabies! The proof is in the pudding....what's YOUR rank? Pay them no mind Don...I see the green eyes of jealousy all over the place!

damn...there goes the neighborhood...jealousy...no-way....he needs to go to animal control where he belongs...they took his suburban away and gave him an old grey crown vic....now he will want a black charger...at least at animal control he would blend in with the smell!!!

I'm a taxpayer. Please tell me why does Don frank even need a take home vehicle?

The "Teflon Don". Most people caught using NCIC for personal reasons, running people illegally, are punished severely. Some are fired. Some are suspended for weeks. You could even be sued civilly and criminally prosecuted.

The Teflon Don gets a written reprimand, a quick promotion from Sgt to Lt, a very quick promotion from Lt to Major, then a very quick promotion from Major to Deputy Chief! He went from Sgt to Deputy Chief in about 2 years. Not bad! Guess it pays to be friends with Vernon!

Has anyone else noticed that Officer K.Sapp who also drove ol VJ around for years, was the only one not promoted.

Why is that, could it be that he had the ball's to say no thanks when it was offered.

That is my guess, way to go Kenny!
Rock on Chief O'Brien

U know the saying it is not what you know, but who you know.

I also know another old saying. What goes around comes around! There is a big DEMOTION TRAIN coming around the bend for a lot of people. It is going to run all over several command staff supervisors but many of them are too dumb or too arrogant to know it. For example, Horner is too dumb, Rancifer is too arrogant and Don Frank is both.

To the few people who have recently complained on this blog about being critical of our fellow officers, I would like to respond to your complaint. I stopped considering these arrogant sell outs in the command staff to be my fellow officers a long time ago! If you want to kiss their ass, put on the Chap Stick and have at it. I never have and I never will.

Bolton had to turn in the 50+ uniforms he acquired while Chief. Will Don Frank have to turn in all of the suits Vernon bought for him on the county's dime?

I thought it was sexual harassment not NCIC? I thought that was another supervisor recently transfered to Center as MPO. I could be wrong....tell me why either are still here? In fact anyone implicated on that DSO investigation, why are they still here? I see same old thing happening, just different tone. Transfer the problem.

It appears Don Frank can do whatever it is Don Frank wants to do! He can illegally run people on NCIC and get promoted all the way to Deputy Chief, when anyone else would have been fired! He can lie to investigators and delete evidence from his cell phone right in front of them without any repercussions.

Why do some people get away with so much wrong doing?

Well not everyone would be fired for violating the federal law about NCIC. If you remember there is a certain female that was transfered from CID for running her husbands mistress.

To Anon 17, to answer your question, "Why do some people get away with so much wrong doing?" and we all know the answer. "Vindictive Vern" had a way of firing or making life soo miserable that many quit or retired rather than put up with this shit.
I have little confidence in the Burris "truth Comittee", too many politicians are involved and this could be political hit squad in disguise.
I would much prefer a grand jury but grand juries are not allways controlable and can bite a corrupt politiican in the ass with disasterous results. That is why we do not have grand juries roaming DeKalb and laying out rulings and indictments.

Lowflyer did you see the news today on channel 2? Grand Jury just subpoenaed Judge Walker and her Clerk. Looks like they are looking for something.

Anonymous said...

That's true. The female was not fired for running the husband's girlfriend. But she was suspended for a very long time and she lost out on a promotion to Sgt. Did either of those things happen to Don Frank?

Who was it that got a few days off for NCIC violations and was allowed to spread the days out over a few pay periods in order to lessen the blow caused by lost income?

Because I can't remember the guilty party's name with certainty, I hesitant to attach it to the person.

I heard it on the radio, great news but we need more of them. If you had the choice of launching a grand jury what would you choose as the subject of the investigation? Bolton's misuse of drug vehicles? Recorders court? Judge Workman allowing Yancey home arrest and subsequent escape? Worthy causes but my vote would be for a Grand jury to look into DeKalb Pension activity for the last years including when Vernon was on the pension board. I do not trust the little shit one bit and can think of no reason for him to be on the board except to make himself rich.

Anonymous said...

Im not making an accusation but I always heard that the pension board allowed Jones to "buy back time for time served in the Georgia general assembly". Is this true? Is it fair? Is it legal? Why were other employees not afforded the same benifit under simiaiar circumstances?

Anonymous said...

To inquiring mind....that was then Sgt. West. Then Chief Moody allowed that to happen.

I don't know if ya'll don't realize but Don Frank actually went to classes for his job and has spent most of his career being passed over so when caught the break he took it. you all don't have enough investigative skills to know this. No I'm not Don Frank, nor am Vernon or anyone else. just get the whole story before you judge others. and im not saying don't go getting all personal just look at his qualifications.

Anonymous said...

It helps when you can order a subordinate to take the online GEMA classes for you. You do your home work ANON (no ones symphathizing with Don Frank) Dont open this can of worms and they will stay fish bait, not Frank bait. Let Donnie boy rest in peace and pray he keeps a job with department.

Lets discuss Don Franks pedigree. Lets start with a couple of violations. Sexual Assault(Rosa Davis), Agg. Assault (wifes friend)
Influencing a witness and lying in Grand Jury (overtime CEO)Sexual Assault on cadet assigned to Homeland (check the cameras in elevator. cover up)lying to Mr. Ellis. Please lets stop here. You want more we got more.ohoh GCIC uh uh uh. those are your qualifications for a leader in department in Homeland Security. embarassment. Do your homework, before you come out for the rat.

Most of his career getting passed over? That's a laugh! He was a Sgt and BROKE THE LAW by illegally using NCIC. People get fired and prosecuted for that. Frank got promoted to Lt almost immediately, then to Major, then to Deputy Chief all in less than 2 years! And it's easy to take all the classes you want when you're best friends with Vernon and you're his driver!
