Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin James Cochran must have taken lessons from recently terminated DeKalb Police Chief Terrell Bolton on take home car management. Imagine if he should win the nomination.
Now, close your eyes and imagine further that somehow he manages to bring Terrell Bolton on board as U.S. Police Administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Homeland Security.......WAKE UP! It's just a nightmare!

How about wondering why Lt's who are in charge of FTO's have to right to insert their personal political policy at the end of their emails.. Thats very unprofessional.. If you are a two bit libertarian fine.. just do it on your own time. Would I be wrong if I quoted a bible verse??

Im just curious, when did the blog administrator become so involved with presidential appointments? I can't seem to recall any stories about our last president. I could care less about who President Obama picks, and the post about a car and NCIC, pleaseeee! Once again WE know where you'e going with this. Lets stay focused on OUR department. Take care of home first. Gimme a break.
He is one of the best in the nation, how is he connected? After this investigation the President needs to reevaluate this position. I hope this is not the best this nation has to offer.
The reporter is trying to "Dale Russell" Chief Cochran. Bolton was SO much worse. Chief Cochran only drives his car 41 miles round trip each day. Bolton drove his take home car to DALLAS.

This is ashame when we Top Chiefs and Executive Commanders violate policies and they don't get reprimanded.
To anon: 2 outstanding class action attorneys are Debra Schwartz in Decatur and, of course, Lee Parks. Lee won us back overtime pay in a class action in EMS way back in 1989-1990 about our not receiving overtime when the county considered our kelly days ( every 8 shifts we had 5 days off) as compensation for the over 40 hrs that we worked although we were not classified as firefighters. Some of us received hefty checks as the practice had gone on for years. good luck...
This is the same chief that sat back and let Shirley destroy his department just like Richard Pennington did. Whatever happened to public safety heads standing up and saying what needed to be said. I remember that's what the Sheriff's do best (Richmond County, Ga.? anyone).
