Terrell Bolton spent millions of dollars on silly recreation vehicles, aka Magic Buses.
What we really need is an "Armadillo". They would be inexpensive and if the command staff put their minds to it, could probably get a few donated.

This is just silly. You can't deter crime without marble floors, luxury bedding, and flat screen tv's!
That's really a great idea! Think of how much time and resources this could save the county!
The county could buy a bunch of these vehicles. Outfitting them all with cameras and DVR's would be expensive, but you really wouldn't have to outfit all of them! The county could get away with only outfitting a few of them! The perps would never know! If a complaint on a location comes in, drop off this highly visible vehicle right in front of the location! They'll move!! If they move somewhere else in the county, complaints will come in, drop off another vehicle! Eventually, they'll just get the hint and get out of DeKalb!
If the goal is to rid the county of drug dealers, this would be a great tool! Making arrests is great, but we all know the perps will make bond in 24 hours and be back on the streets doing the same thing again! But if you use these vehicles to discourage their customers from visiting them, they'll just move to another county to do business! Then it's not our problem anymore! I love it!
Please let the loser slammin ethel drive DKPD's truck and loflyer can be the co-pilot.
we so need that...that would be so great..of course I can just hear the 911 calls now..why is that ugly veh parked two houses down from my house.lol..but it would so help our officers...
